It's labor day. For some of you, you're enjoying each other's company over in Seattle.
For the rest of the crowd, we get to relax in the comfort of our own homes, take a walk outside, catch up on that novel you've been meaning to read or in my case, gambling online in low stakes no limit hold'em.
I've been starting this routine where I'll buy into a game once every Sunday. The payoff for getting to the final table is tremendous for a 22 dollar buy in. In any event, I'm working on that and hopefully it'll pay off in the long run with a bit of luck and skill on my part.
We work damn hard for our money. So here's a thread to recognize all the people in the system earning their keep and working for the man. Happy labor day everyone. Take comfort in the fact that this day is yours to do whatever you feel.
I happen to be a consultant myself. I'm also rather content in that position even though they're making ridiculous overhead on me. I guess that's the sign of the times we live in. Eat the rich and all that.

It takes the dude 5 minutes to park the damn thing. Of course he decides to vent by yelling at my closed window. All I can do is laugh at him at this point, which makes him even more angry. I roll down my window so I can hear him more clearly. He's going on and on about how he's going to scratch the car. I respond by saying "Nah, you're just going to stand there waving your arms about like an idiot". He then proceeds to take a picture of my license plate and tell me that I should expect a letter in the mail from the RCMP. "Ok, I'll make sure to look out for that along with fairies, leprechauns and unicorns". He then goes on an fbomb parade. Right when he's at the door I tell him to go fuck himself and have a nice day.
It's a shame the elderly sometimes chose to resort to this behavior. It's a colossal waste of their time considering they have so little of it.

well the way he put the situation, it sounds like he is parked in a no-parking area right outside the mall's doors waiting for his aunt to come out while this dude is trying to get into a handicapped space. That makes him in the wrong, period. Then he laughs and is snarky and completely rude to the guy.
