Yes, the dog thread starts badly and then goes downhill from there.
I'm about to back away from it. I grew up with at least two dogs in our house all the time, and I'm honestly surprised at how hard of a time people have at understanding dogs as property that can do damage to other people.
Clearly you're insane, Doc. Momentary misjudgements should be punishable by disfigurement and general mockery.

I just looked at Moss' website. I find it amazing that somebody on these boards has designed stuff which I've seen in the wider world (threadless t-shirts, illustrations for newspapers and the like)

Well, yes. People will more likely go to a 'sure bet', like a sequel or a movie connected to a property they are already familiar with, than a completely original work.
That's how these things work.

I always forget that there are "real" people with important jobs and stuff on these forums.
I always think of everyone as like me, but, you know, cooler.

And he's younger than me. I see.
Well, he's made a mistake posting full photos of himself. I'm going to go London and punch him.

Definitely easy to dismiss, but it's the first decade where that happened.

Man, I wish there was a "this person is fucking insane" flag you could set that would make their username show up in red for you or something. It would be much more useful than the ignore list.

Now that would have been something.
Then I'll cheer you up!
When I said I'd kill you last?
That was quite the lie.

A lack of wabisabi
Rank dishonesty
Now, now. I'm like you but less cooler.

Yeah, I'm not sure if haiku can cope with metaphysical conceits.

What's the difference between an epigram and a haiku? I though my stuff had seventeen syllables, didn't it?

Also, hi Doc. D'you like your pictures?

Yeah but there's a bit more. Themes involving nature and/or a kind of sad beauty called 'wabisabi' in Japanese are common.
Of course, you can say that theme is separate, and have war-sonnets and love-villanelles or whatever. But I think the verse suffers if you do.

I am fully expecting to have the sniffles after the meetup in Birmingham with the strange people and their strange germs.
