Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I am looking for recommendations for a PC microphone that will pick up multiple people in a room for meeting purposes. The specific need is for a Skype call, where on one end, multiple people will need to participate (about 15.) Beyond that, we would also use it for seminars/webinars. We currently use a Polycom conference phone for telephone calls, but need to find an equivalent for the PC.
Everything I come across looks like it was designed for an individual, though.
See if you can find a self-powered (probably with a 9V battery) cheap condensor microphone maybe? Of course, unless it comes with an 1/8 inch jack already you'd have to buy a mic to 1/4 cable and then a 1/4 inch to 1/8 jack to plug into the PC.
