[Mini-Phalla] Redemption: Cult of Bythos wins!

Sounds like you're a little burned out.
Ha. No, seriously, though, I've been evil in the two of Burn's games I've been in and nowhere else.
KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMEEEE
Though I certainly enjoyed being redeemed 10 minutes before voteoff, and it would have worked well for me if the redeemed had all voted for shalmelo.
This from Daius, sunday afternoon.
It's what put him firmly in the suspicious catagory on my spreadsheet. Hey, you got a random upgrade? Everyone I know that gives out upgrades didn't use an ability on you. Except maybe Gumpy... SUSPICIOUS!
Furthermore, it's what lead to me killing gumpy, cause he never answered my question about who he used his power for on day one...
Keeping in mind that I had never actually seen Kime's FULL role with fluff included. So I didn't know it was all "emo wah wah we got our ass kicked by god"
This being where I A: bitch him out. And B: yet again inform the Redeemed that I am not god, and even provide my true role. Your failure to believe me multiple times, it were a failure.

Actually, the entire conversation here I am being 100% loyal and honest to you, and have yet to be converted. I genuinely screwed up the way I presented the lie about the avatar (not that it mattered, as Gonmun ended up being a redeemed and we didn't know about the avatar being able to fake-join the redeemed). I was converted 15 minutes before vote close, after this convo occured, and the only message I sent you as a redeemed (and thus now disloyal) was the one asking you to take the vote off me.
I would fix it. But I'm lazy. But yeah, I read the proboards, and you are absolutely right. You didn't actually tell them that I was lying until you had officially converted, and then that's what you were supposed to do. It worked well, I think. Except Gonmun wasn't a redeemed, he was village. I don't know why they told you that.

Gotcha.
During the last day we basically started using Jobastion and Avatar interchangeably, but that was mainly because at that point it didn't matter who it was anymore.
And wtf was with mafia members not sharing info on the proboards this game? Arggghhhh, worst mafia.
I was indeed village. The whoel time though I had forwarded a PM that I had been sent asking if I wanted to be converted.
All those little questions you saw that asked Elder in the narration. That was me.
Well, he hadn't converted yet, which meant his win condition = village win condition = my win condition.
When your win condition matches everyone else, you're supposed to work together to win, not hide things and keep a pocket option for yourself.
To quote Kime
"You always play towards your win, which apparently is a difficult concept."
If he'd converted that day, then I'd be cool with it. Having not converted though, he really did doom all of the villagers. And by that fifth day, I knew I wouldn't lose, I was just really angry that everyone that I had worked with was going to lose.
(And I didn't know for sure if voting redeemed would get a win for everyone, or just for the redeemed, so wasn't going that way with only shalmelo on the voting block for their side)
But I'm over it.
Cause he did have more lore available of the "bad guys" then I actually did. It was a semi rational decision. I disagree with it, obviously, but I can see the merits of it.
And sorry Gonmon, I had you, and Daius, and clearly I made the right choice from a mechanics perspective... but the wrong choice entirely. Biggest F'up I made in the game I think.
And Burnage, this was really fun. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Gnosticism for the crazy.

Your win saw the entire village lose :winky:
Here was my role...
You have embraced death, and a veil has been lifted.
Your soul is a manifestation of the archetypal wise woman; you are destined to spend your lives engaging in discourse and teaching. It is who you are, and it is the ideal that you would lead humanity towards should you be chosen for the procedure of Metempsychosis. The only thing stopping you, it would seem, is the presence of the so-called “Redeemed”.
You know little about them, but it is clear that they must be stopped.
You have the following trait; Patience.
You have the following ability; Public Knowledge: Each day, you may ask me a question. Both the question and answer will be published in the narration that night, although not the identity of who asked it. PM me your question.
You have the following personal win condition; Ensure that you are voted for the procedure of Metempsychosis.
You have the following primary win condition: Destroy the Redeemed.
These win conditions may change, but you are uncertain how.
Jo, did you think I had been converted or something?
Honestly, I had no idea. I was about 50/50 you or daius.
I had you killed because if you weren't converted, then we could be sure the narrations were true, and that the count was accurate. If you were converted, we would know the opposite.
Daius was just a crappy role seer, and since I knew 99% of the roles anyway, I gained nothing by confirming that he was good thru death. Logic... it's a bad thing sometimes.
I had actually set out to do it the other way, cause I was thinking hey, you're useful. Then I slept on it, and came to the unfortunate realization that since day 5 was the last day, whether or not you died, your narrative mechanic would still work... That was a bad choice, in retrospect.
Burnage said the village would have gotten a win if they had killed the redeemed. It was only because of a technicality that they lost.
Hi5 Arivia!
