Modern Warfare 2 (packaged as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. I'm sure there's going to be the usual claims to it, but I'll reserve judgment until I play it. I suspect it'll still have spawn fuckery in some capacity.
I remember saying that about the first one.
Yet I still got 1000/1000 out of it.

Why?
COD has always been a great single player experience, and with the refinments and upgrades they're bringing to MW2 (larger levels, smarter AI, civilians you can shoot in the face) why would you skip it?
I personally feel that the single player action rivals any CG cutscene from any game to date. It's just pure intensity!
I mean in theory and if history proves anything, the single player part can be blown off in 6 hours, maybe less.

At least with squad spawn and those neat new tactical insertion dohickies spawning shouldn't be *as* frustrating assuming you're playing with a decent party.
Everyone is so much better than me.
I am enjoying it immensely and now I am pretty eager for MW2. The intensity and immersion of the single player game is pretty fantastic, even without considering multi.

I had a guy message me over and over with "1VS1 BITCH!" in which I replied "LOL WUT?" and then downgraded to a silenced usp and continued my fun.
That would be a damn shame, believe me.

I loved CoD4:MW and CoD:WaW's single player campaigns.. this will only be better, I reckon.
In other words.. you'll be missing out if you go right to multiplayer.
I'm the DE.50's biggest fan on this game.
DE.50 + Stopping power + Bandolier + Last stand = very, very annoyed opponents.
Also, and I found this really weird.
Last night while I was playing, somtimes after going into last stand and dying I'd get a grenade kill as if I had Martydom on. It happened 5 or 6 times. At first i thought it was a randomly tossed nade, but after the third time when I knew I had no grenades left it was happening. It was really strange.
I knew it, you filthy hacker.
I definitely favor MP over SP for this game, but I'm sure I'll go through it at some point.

I like shooters on the computer better, but i seem to have an edge over others with a controller.
My record for a random multiplayer game i joined on 360 was 52-2 (and i only died the first time because i ran out of ammo with primary and sidearm, and 3 pickup rifles I got down to charge stabbing people)
Did CoD4 have any good mods or player maps on PC?
