I would use OKCupid but all the people who check out my profile are fat chicks
Not myspace angle fat, where you can disguise it
No, just plain ol' fat
This one isn't. Actually a red head to boot. Thus why I think I am freaked because it is someone I am actually kind of attracted to.
WHOOO REDHEADS.
Is it weird that sometimes I want to gather all the forumer OKC pages to look at? I like doing stuff like that... it's like Quid and his need to save all the pics people post.
I distinctly recall The Cat participating in a lengthy and bitter discussion about how shit Australian ISPs are.
Also stuff about soil science.
Yeah, this forum doesn't really spend much time on my official areas of expertise :P
Does any forum? I don't think I have ever taken part in a social forum that discusses my degree area in an actually useful, interesting, or in the form of a kindly scientific discussion in any way. I guess Genomics is just not an area people are interested in the basics of, they more just want to say "I've got a penis because XY bitches!".
Good point - do people here frequent specialist websites/forums for their work/study area? I'm not even sure active useful forums exist for my work - and if they did, they would most likely sit behind some sort of paywall given the industry and the existing specialist publishers
I think there might be one in 20 years or so, but most of my learned colleagues are like 45 and up. They don't really do social media.
There are numerous architecture and librarian related blogs and forums and such which seem alright, but the pace is far too slow to keep my attention most of the time.
Plus I already have you guys and am not a whore. Sleeping around with whatever php site gives me googly eyes.
I always figured they should. But my guess they have never seen two women fight each other, its scary.
The UK army recently did a review again (they have to every eight years). They completely agree that women would be fully capable of serving, they pulled out the usual 'unit cohesiveness!' bullocks.
A woman passed the SAS entrance test a few years ago, and they just said pretty much that there will never be a woman in the special forces combat units. Something to do with the fact that the men would be emotionally distressed more by a woman losing her life in their unit, and that the units wouldn't be as cohesive (as you said). I don't know what my views are on this matter I really don't.
It's like the universe hates me and wants me to die cold and alone
I have been more proactive but I actually messaged her after she looked at my page. Actually I am lucky being in Colorado, the skinniest state in the nation.
Always try a few places or so I heard. I wish we still had the online dating thread but I think it was stated it should be h/a not a dnd thread.

Good lad. We will need a bunch of time stamped screenshots though, can't trust whores you know
I was part of a Yahoo group for that environmental thing I was involved in, and occasional get involved in the WotC forums, but that's about it.
Before here I was on the PVP forums, and at some point on the Jennifer Government forums.
How is that book? It sounds like an interesting idea, as far as dystopian sci-fi goes, but I either forget about it when I'm at the library or I don't make it past the Terry Pratchett shelves.
WoW forums when it came out, War3 tactics forum when it came out. I use to read the ClanBob forums from Life of Riley.(I miss that comic) I read the Looking For Group forums when these forums are down. Then there are my guild forums I check but don't post a whole lot. Oh and the CS server I played on for ages but that was before I went to college. Oh and the old DAoC boards, I use to post there every once and a while when I played.

I never read it. I got dragged into the forum via the little game they had going. The book is still in bookstores at least.

I read it at the time but while it was ok, all I can remember about it is that
it was some sort of Libertarian dystopia / corporate loyalty schemes gone wild mix

Yeah, like I said it seemed like it was an interesting route for a dystopia book to go since there are only so many avenues they generally take. Plus I like political-ish thrillers every now and again.

I don't remember much about it besides reading it a few years ago and enjoying it.

Who would have thought that by page three we would start to see the "Interest in becoming a Mod thread" going down the drain. I was expecting it a page ago.
I post here and on the Lush forums. But I'm taking a break from them. (:
Lush has a forum? Do they just talk about soap? This confuses me.
I really just post here. I also use to read off-topic but that took a type of boredom that was reaching build a bomb for fun stage, and I will admit mostly for the hot chick pic threads.

That's enough of a ringing endorsement for me, considering. I'll have to make sure I remember to actually pick it up next time I'm downtown.

Pssh, I've been postin' here since before you were created.
Well shit, your account is even older than mine.
Man, I wouldn't have believed that.
That is true. I shall consider you more along the lines of a wise old father like figure in the future:P
I joined here after taking a six month break from forums due to moving countries, then when I got settled I decided to find a busy, slightly less specialist, gaming focused forum and I'd been lurking here on and off for a couple of years via the comics.

There's sections for the products, the new launches, for stores to talk about their parties and plans for customers and other things. I was usually in the shop forum acting as the rep. from my store and in the Product Questions to give recommendations and advice since I like to do that. There's also a section to talk about other shops and a general chat area too.

I've managed walk past a Lush 4-5 days most week for the last 7 years or so and the smell still makes me flinch. I would like to share this with the Lush Forums Community and see if they have any tips or assistance they can share

Burn out your nose. I went into one to buy presents for some friends in Japan and my nose burnt after coming out.

I'd figure it's like Alcoholics Anonymous.

Hi my name is Mazzyx and I buy really smelly overpriced soap.
So you're a pretty clean person.
Oh, that kind of Lush.
Oh, Moniker what were you thinking of? :P
Burn out your nose. I went into one to buy presents for some friends in Japan and my nose burnt after coming out.
I don't even notice it.
