Not myspace angle fat, where you can disguise it

    No, just plain ol' fat

This one isn't. Actually a red head to boot. Thus why I think I am freaked because it is someone I am actually kind of attracted to.

    WHOOO REDHEADS.

Is it weird that sometimes I want to gather all the forumer OKC pages to look at? I like doing stuff like that... it's like Quid and his need to save all the pics people post.

Yeah, this forum doesn't really spend much time on my official areas of expertise :P

Does any forum? I don't think I have ever taken part in a social forum that discusses my degree area in an actually useful, interesting, or in the form of a kindly scientific discussion in any way. I guess Genomics is just not an area people are interested in the basics of, they more just want to say "I've got a penis because XY bitches!".

Good point - do people here frequent specialist websites/forums for their work/study area? I'm not even sure active useful forums exist for my work - and if they did, they would most likely sit behind some sort of paywall given the industry and the existing specialist publishers

I think there might be one in 20 years or so, but most of my learned colleagues are like 45 and up. They don't really do social media.

There are numerous architecture and librarian related blogs and forums and such which seem alright, but the pace is far too slow to keep my attention most of the time.

Plus I already have you guys and am not a whore. Sleeping around with whatever php site gives me googly eyes.

I always figured they should. But my guess they have never seen two women fight each other, its scary.

The UK army recently did a review again (they have to every eight years). They completely agree that women would be fully capable of serving, they pulled out the usual 'unit cohesiveness!' bullocks.

A woman passed the SAS entrance test a few years ago, and they just said pretty much that there will never be a woman in the special forces combat units. Something to do with the fact that the men would be emotionally distressed more by a woman losing her life in their unit, and that the units wouldn't be as cohesive (as you said). I don't know what my views are on this matter I really don't.

How is that book? It sounds like an interesting idea, as far as dystopian sci-fi goes, but I either forget about it when I'm at the library or I don't make it past the Terry Pratchett shelves.

Are we listing our former forum lovers?

WoW forums when it came out, War3 tactics forum when it came out. I use to read the ClanBob forums from Life of Riley.(I miss that comic) I read the Looking For Group forums when these forums are down. Then there are my guild forums I check but don't post a whole lot. Oh and the CS server I played on for ages but that was before I went to college. Oh and the old DAoC boards, I use to post there every once and a while when I played.

Yeah, like I said it seemed like it was an interesting route for a dystopia book to go since there are only so many avenues they generally take. Plus I like political-ish thrillers every now and again.

I joined here after taking a six month break from forums due to moving countries, then when I got settled I decided to find a busy, slightly less specialist, gaming focused forum and I'd been lurking here on and off for a couple of years via the comics.

There's sections for the products, the new launches, for stores to talk about their parties and plans for customers and other things. I was usually in the shop forum acting as the rep. from my store and in the Product Questions to give recommendations and advice since I like to do that. There's also a section to talk about other shops and a general chat area too.
