On our way up to Boston for PAX, we're stopping off in NYC to shoot a video for Light Up The Night (for reals). It's going to be one hell of a thing, and we're going to need the help of all those who want to hang out with us all day and make Hollywood (...or NY) movie magic. It's a daytime shoot on Sunday, April 1st (not fake). We're going to need 150 extras to bring some scripted thunder. The production will be automatically accepting the first 100 applicants and will be choosing the rest by headshots that we'd like you to submit. We aren't requiring head shots, but if you do, it sort of doubles your chances for getting some screen time (but maybe not. I'm terrible at math).

Unfortunately, we don't have a unicorn that shits money, so all we can give you in exchange for your time is a free ridiculous Proto-show at the end of the day/night for everyone who is involved. And probably a great deal of terrible snacks of some variety.

I'm about an hour west of Asheville. This'll be my third time seein' them there. Usually they play at Broadway's though, right? First time at the Emerald lounge, I think. WHATEVER SUPER EXCITED.

*was*. Shooting wrapped a few days ago. I was just a small time grunt helping where I could. I actually stayed as far away from the actual shots as possible just in case I nerded out. I wasn't even there for the Concert Day.
I *was* going to post a link to a video some other dude shot while there, but he went and took the thing down. Probably cause the fool wasn't supposed to upload a video featuring the entire bloody song.
But yea, I literally got into the band because I was working on this thing, only finding out I liked their work on the way to set. I can't fucking *wait* to see you guys lose your respective shit over this thing.

Look if you guys wanted to work 14 hour days for 5 days straight too, all you have to do is spend 40 grand on film school! Simple, really.

But let's talk about things we can all appreciate, shall we? Like the fact that for a band who made me go "Well, it's technically a movie about Megaman" for 5 days, they use a ludicrously small amount of actual megaman music. Hell, I think they even retain them to just the first album and leave Act II to completely original riffs.
Although I'll be the first to admit my MMMusic knowledge is sparse at best, so maybe they just blend it in so well that Marks like me simply can't pick it out when not translated through a nintendo cartridge.

the whistle in unrest in the house of light is similar to the NES proto man whistle but not quite the same

I guess they have some 8-bit music in Will of One but I don't think it's straight from a mega man song
