You have 24 Hours after the beginning of your turn to post a card. Summaries will be posted as often as I can check the thread. Unless there is a major hold up, continue playing until the end of a round.
From this point forward: Spectators may post in the thread, provided their posts are in italics, like this. Failure to comply, or inane chattering will result in your requested departure from the thread.
Rules lawyering and clarifications to occur in Phalla Standard Orange.
Cheap Stir-fry
Ingredients
- broccoli, split in a diagonal
- mushrooms, sliced
- beef, cut into cubes
- sliced red bell pepper
- vegetable oil
- rice
- soy sauce
- sugar
- rice vinegar
- corn starch
- stir fry sauce (alternatively: oyster sauce, corn starch, sugar, soy sauce)
- additional fixin's of your choice (favorites include onions, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and sugar snap peas)
MARINADE
1. Mix equal parts rice vinegar and soul, about 1/4 cup. Add 1/4 tsp. of sugar.
2. Add your cubed beef. Stir to coat.
3. Add corn starch, enough to thicken it all, a little less than the amount of liquid you've got. Massage it into the beef. When it's coated nice and thick, refridgerate for at least an hour.
COOKIN'
1. Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet. Wait for it to get very super hot.
2. Add your vegetables. I like to cook them all one at a time, then reheat them in one big pile at the end, but you can just cook them all now.
3. Sprinkle some sugar over the vegetables, just a pinch.
4. Remove vegetables.
5. Add beef and cook thoroughly. Return vegetables to the pan.
6. Add stir-fry sauce (or oyster sauce, sugar, soy sauce, then toss in more corn starch to thicken it) and stir rapidly, then cook for about two minutes more.
7. Prepare some rice. Serve your stir-fry atop rice. For a great smoky flavor, try some hoisin sauce.
1 bowl
1 cup of Lucky Charms (estimate)
1 cup of 2% Fat Free Milk (estimate)
Take the bowl and place on smooth surface. Pour 1 cup of Lucky Charms into bowl. Then pour 1 cup of 2% Milk into bowl. Mix for 1 minute. Serves 1.
(I can't cook. I have military chow hall!)
6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise
¼ cup Light Mayonnaise or Salad Dressing
½ teaspoon dry ground mustard
½ teaspoon white vinegar
1/8 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Paprika for garnish
Pop out (remove) the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika.
Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.
Also, Samurai, play your card. I don't want to wait for everyone to post their damn recipe
And I target AJAlkaline40! Drunk post away!!!!!!!
I'll pm people their rolesh soonly.
Carbonara
-Salt and Boil water
-cut up some bacon into a medium dice (about 3-4 slices per serving)
-cook diced bacon
-while bacon is cooking, cook some spaghetti in salted boiling water
-while noodles are cooking grab 1 egg per serving of pasta. Place raw egg in bottom of each pasta bowl and whisk in 1 handful grated Parmesan cheese, a large pinch of salt, a large pinch of ground black pepper, and about a teaspoon of cream.
-toss cooked pasta in cooked bacon
-place pasta/bacon mixture into bowls with egg/cheese/cream mixture.
-garnish with a bit more grated parm
its so good, even my cats eat it.
I also would like to point out that I am bad with directions, and I apologize for some of my cards being 400X300 instead of 300X400.

Clarification denied.
AJAlkaline really wants a hamburger, and a couple more beers. His inerbriated escapades has lead him to Wangville. Wangville madness will be handled by AJAlkaline. Don't bother asking me anything, I don't know. His Clarifications are to occur in Yellow. If you die in the Phalla, you die in real life.

I'm pretty bad at this drunken antics stuff, so when I get to my mom's I'll see if she'll give me some of the free beer she gets from work (she works for Anheuser Busch), and I'll make some real, serious drunk posts.
Though I'll be honest guys, last time I got really drunk I spent the entire night clinging a bottle of vodka on my friend's parent's basement steps screaming "TO MOTHER FUCKING RUSSIA".
What do you need?
Lamb or beef.
One onion and one potato, diced.
One cup of spring onions, finely chopped
1/3 cup of cooking oil.
1 teaspoon turmeric.
One and a half cups of water.
Half a cup of dried limes, or fresh lime juice.
Four cups of black-eye beans or kidney beans.
Salt and pepper.
One and a half cups of spinach, finely chopped.
Half a cup of parsley, finely chopped.
Quarter of a cup of coriander, finely chopped.
Quarter of a cup of tareh (garlic chives), finely chopped.
Quarter of a cup of shanbelileh (fenugreek), finely chopped.
How do you do this?
Trim meat and cut into cubes. Fry your onions over medium heat in half of the oil until golden. Add turmeric and fry for two more minutes.
Increase heat, add meat cubes and stir over high heat until meat changes color and begins to turn brown. Reduce heat.
Add water, black-eye or kidney beans, salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer gently for an hour to an hour and a half, depending on what kind of meat.
Fry your potatoes over high heat in the remaining oil until lightly browned. Add to sauce, leaving oil in the pan. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add prepared vegetables to frying pan and fry over medium heat until wilted. Add to sauce, then add dried limes (or lime juice), cover and simmer for further 10-15 minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve with white rice.
Sodium Surprise!
Beef Stir Fry
* About 400g beef strips, then cut in half down the length for extra thinness & increased sauce exposure
* A bunch of soy sauce
* About a teaspoon of Vegemite
* Splash of White Vinegar
* A splot of barbecue sauce
* tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter
* Tabasco to taste
Heat the damn frying pan. Chuck the beef in and stir it a bunch so its browned, then pour in an obscene amount of soy sauce. You should also get your spoonful of Vegemite in at this time so it can dilute a little. Let it sort of stew-fry for a while (where it is just bubbling ominously, but makes more noise as you scrape the beef around the pan, then add the vinegar and barbecue sauce and other shit
Potato Mash
* 2 potatoes
* Carrot
* Butter
* Salt
* Any nob ends of cheese you have in the fridge (usually cheddar, mozzarella, jarlsberg)
* If there are any bits of ham, salami or other smallgood, also chop these up.
Skin potato & carrot. Boil potato and carrot. Mash vegies with extreme prejudice, mixing in butter and salt. Beat the shit out of it. Now put in the cheese and smallgoods, mix it up again, and mmm. This stays hot for ages, so you should make this before the beef, ideally you're finishing mucking around with mash at the time sauces go in the stir fry.
Dollop mash in bowl, dump beef on top, consume and go "I shouldn't have had that" while drinking jugs of water.
Not cool, man.
