Psolm's numbers should be more accurate than mine, since I ignored narrations and went by the current topic. If he's right, that has to be an absolute bitch for spectrum to keep track of.

Spectrum did comment on how it would take a long time to write the narration with the results he had.

I can't see it being too bad. Just take notes while doing votecount.

yeah it was a real pain in the ass... even just looking for 8 specific posters. if it is really how spectrum is doing it, i dont envy him. especially not after that ahava/d019 love fest that sprawlled over 2 or 3 pages.

Well it sort of requires spectrum to sit around all day and watch the thread.

Hmmm.... garroad_ran unless there is an explanation for this.

I hope I have enough posts. I'm usually pretty chatty. I guess I should spam up the thread a bit before I take off for the day.

!Garroad_Ran seems likely, based on the post counts. (Baa.) The Vig should take out Kuhlmeye, though, unless he can prove himself somehow.

expect today to devolve into pure chaos as everyone tries to pad their post count.

As the cold penetrated the minds of the researchers, slowly, inevitably, they all became increasingly insane. Some would blabber to themselves, aimlessly, while still others would get into arguments over trivial matters. One researcher claimed to find a pattern in pi. And yet the cold was unrelenting.

it seems that it took the lowest 2 post totals and killed everyone with them (2 and 3). if robos a go go had posted just one more time, i think myself, along with the other 4 post posters would have been killed too.

I'm not sure I buy the conclusion, though. Rather than n lowest post totals, a more likely mechanic would be n lowest posters. And it could even be percentage based, so whereas it took out 4 people out of 24 yesterday (after ignoring the vote leader), it would then only hit 2 or 3 out of the 16ish we have left, today.

    Seriously?

Back on topic, it wouldn't be that difficult for Spectrum to keep track of posts; all he needs to do is use the main forum # of posts doo-dad and record it when he posts vote closed and again when he posts the narration. Difference between yesterday's narration and today's vote closed gives you the number of posts during the day. Sort each list by name, paste into a spreadsheet, subtract the cells, done.

To be fair, even if I did it like this:
    3.
    14
    15
    92
    65
    35
    89
    79
    32
    38
    46
    26
    43
    38
    32
    79

The only other valid player numbers it gives are 3 (dac vin) and 14 (infidel who wasn't playing). I stand by my accusation and say that DV is safe since it wasn't 03, but I would still like to hear his defense anyway :P

Speaking of numerology, the file name for the picture in the OP is: dn12597-1_700

    Cross-referencing with the player list,
    Roster:
    1) Arivia
    2) B:L
    3) Dac Vin
    4) Darian
    6) Dunadan019
    7) dunedainjedi
    8) Ebfan
    9) Fatal3RR0R
    10) FunkyWaltDogg
    11) garroad_ran
    13) Houn
    15) Kay
    17) kuhlmeye
    19) Nocturne
    20) Orange Soda
    21) psolms
    24) uean
    25) vagrant_winds

dn could refer to Dac Vin, Darian, Dunadan019, dunedainjedi, garroad_ran, or a dyslexic vagrant_winds

Of those, the most interesting to me is garroad_ran; the letters are both lower case, and each shows up as the last letter in part of his name. Plus, he's not me.

12 is already dead (and was the head researcher), but we're looking for five bad guys: 1-2-5-9-7 could be the ones.

Except 5 is already dead as well, and just a researcher. Any other ideas what we can do with those numbers?
