    The balance wasn't that bad, actually. I think the "three mafia with a kill each, and they get networked if they target each other" idea would have been preferable, however.

    Anyways, this format lends itself to having backup specials without being imbalanced for reasons I mentioned earlier in the game, as someone would do nothing for awhile with their targeting and then suddenly shoot someone in the face or seer them. 5 mafia with no back up specials was pretty steep for the village, even if we did better than we were doing there.

    I had fun! But yeah, the double listings only really helped the Mafia and I don't think they needed the help with 5 members.

    well i only targeted 1 mafia.. garrod_ran. on like.. day 4.

    g_r: when we declared the issue dead, i knew you were who i knew you were, (if that makes sense) and knew i just had to wait to confirm myself. i didnt think there was a 5th mafia though.

    anyways, it was very fun. i am curious though- how did you get azn to trust you? or was i the only one who the notice wouldnt get sent?

    that was my mistake.

    I thought I had CCed your notice to gar, and I didn't.

    Mostly cause my browser crashed int he middle of sending it out, and when I got it back up, I forgot to retype his name in.

    So that was my mistake.

    lol thats ok.

    i new i was safe because the vig died, i figured out that kime was the guard... worst case scenario, the seer picks me and g_r hides another day. it was just frustrating trying to convince a teammate that you are in fact a teammate.

    and now its probably good,

    The game was actually balanced just fine. Ineffective special targeting leads to mafia victory?!?! :)

    I don't blame you. An eye for an eye, or day one for a day one. I harbor no ill will towards you. I'm just saying, aside from this post you also declared your grudge in the previous mini, and on the Phalla wiki.

    Nah it's all in fun. I'm a big believer in Phalla not being srs business. Thanks Ahava for hosting, this game was unique and fun.

    The lesson here is that maybe people should do a better job at remembering things like this or looking at past posts. In fact, the last time I left an "In case I die tonight..." message, I listed 3 suspected people that all turned out to be mafia. I'm not saying I'm the shit, I'm just saying that people really need to do some more reading.
