Before you start TF2, right click Steam in your toolbar and click on Servers. Go to the Favorites tab, click Add a Server, and type in the IP. Next time you launch TF2, go to the Favorites tab and select one of the servers that has people in it, type in the password (wang), and you should be good to go. Also make sure "Show map list" is unchecked in the bottom left. It makes finding servers stupid as hell.

Test Server Inactive Now
We're going to do more testing tonight. I've implemented what should fix the odd breaking that would occur after a while. I had forgotten to put in a client check in the sentry metal checking code, and if that breaks, it doesn't restrict the guns as it should. We'll start at 8:00pm ET, but I'll try to have the server up by around 7:00pm ET. Just go mostly engineers, try testing out the limits, try pushing guns over their max, and things like that. After you tested these things (including trying to upgrade an ally's gun over the limit), try having one team turtle, and another team break the turtle fest. Then whatever as long as it's sentry gun related. Try things like sapping and what not too! Today I will be testing with these limits.

If it was anything like the 360 version, completly fuck awful. Last time I checked they hadn't even patched the map exploits. Mind you this must have been like last year.

Fair enough.
But I know of like 4 good Sentry spots in the beginning, and lots of great sentry placement throughout the map configs.
I just really love playing Egypt as an Engineer and Demo. Its big enough to where Teleporters are a necessity with good spots for them, and there are enough blind spots, nooks, crannies, etc for Sentries and stickies to devastate.
Its a defensive map and I LOVE turtling.

I've actually been playing bits of TF2 recently, just not at the times the drama chamber is populated. Actually, during the last week there was one time where I was playing with a friend and the drama chamber was completely full. I would have joined if there was space for both of us.

I hate maps where time isn't capped.
Like when your team is being retarded at the start of the third demobowl map and you lose the first point within two minutes and you're stuck defending the second point for 18 minutes. I'm sure that's the antithesis of fun for both sides, but it's even worse for defense.
Then you pray the team the RNG assigns you to the next game doesn't suck as hard.
