Scales of War: 6th Character Recruitment thread

Intro.jpg
"The armies that today march across the fields and mountains of the world will tomorrow be forgotten, as will we all. But do not fear the progress of history, nor give up in today’s fight, for our efforts are far from futile. Instead, prepare your sword and shield and stand against the tide that threatens to overwhelm our lands. For though you and I may be forgotten in the years to come, what we do today will echo through the ages and determine the fate of all those who follow in our footsteps." - Amyria

Introduction:

This is a recruitment thread for my campaign of 4th edition of Dungeons and Dragons, Scales of War.

Seeing all the many character submissions in the forums, I've decided on adding a 6th player to our group. That way, another player can get involved in DnD PbP format.

Anyone may post an application, but precedence will be given to new players, especially players not currently involved in any other PbPs (1 PbP is okay, but don’t expect to get picked if you’re playing in more than 1 PbP), and players who have not played the Scales of War Adventure Path before. If you fit any of these criteria, please say so in your application post.

What I'm looking for:
- Another defender, controller or leader.

What I'm not looking for:
- Another striker
- Anything martial (we got a fighter and warlord, and since strikers are out, so are the ranger and rogue)
- See Character Backgrounds and Feats section for more info.

The Particulars:

Standard setup. This is a play by post game; character sheets on Myth-Weavers (if you already have a completed character sheet on Orokos, that’s fine too). Rolls on Invisible Castle (or once again, should IC throw a hissy fit, use of Orokos’s Dice roller is fine too). I, TiamatZ, will be the DM. PCs' minimum post requirement is the usual one per day. Habitual unexplained failures to post will result in your character being ejected from the campaign.

Please submit a level one character created with the 22 Point Buy system. Maximum submissions are one per person (so choose/design carefully).

Submission should include the standard stuff: a link to the sheet (Myth Weavers or Orokos), the character's name, a picture of your character, personality traits, mannerisms and appearances, background, and lastly, the CB summary stuff.

Another thing I'm looking for is some reasons why your character would go to Brindol, as well as his/her/its reaction when he/she/it enters Brindol after last night's goblin raid (see IC thread).

For your character, pretty much any official DnD 4th edition material is acceptable (supplement books, Dragon articles, etc.), except with regards to the race and class (see Character Backgrounds and Feats section below). Be prepared to post technical info if I request it.

Deadline: Deadline is November 2-3 at 5PM (GMT +0) [ 7 PM at my time (GMT +2)].

Character Backgrounds and feats:

Races Allowed (Those not listed are banned):
- All PHB 1 and 2 races
- Genasi (FRPG), Githzerai (Dungeon 378), Minotaur (Dragon 369) and Wilden (DDI) are allowed.

Classes Banned from campaign:
All classes are okay, with the exception of all Playtest Class Articles:
- Monk
- Psion
- Hybrid rules and Characters

and DDI Exclusive Classes:
- Assassin

also, these clasees are banned, due to the fact we already got one of each:
- Barbarian
- Sorcerer
- Wizard
- Fighter
- Warlord

(Reason for all these changes is: I’m personally not familiar with Playtest Articles or the world of Ebberon (which means stuff like it's races, houses, dragonmarks etc.). Genasi make an excellent 'planar' race (in a sense that they are a rare kind to see), and Minotaurs are an overall rockin' race. Also, the Githzerai are native to this campaign/world, and I wanted to add Wilden cause of them being a ‘newcomer’ race as stated in their racial profile.).

Backgrounds:
Players may choose general backgrounds (those from the PHB 2 and Power books) and from the Scales of War ones. No Forgotten Realms or Eberron backgrounds.

The campaign will take place in the 4th edition “points of light” setting (AKA the generic setting found in DMG 1). Your PC may hail from anywhere in the setting, like perhaps from one of the towns of Nentir Vale (most famous of towns there include Fallcrest, Winterhaven and the dwarven town of Hammerfast), or from Elsir Vale itself (notable landmarks include the cosmopolitan dwarven city of Overlook and the town of Brindol).

As for choice of dieties, the standard generic gods may be chosen (e.g. Raven Queen, Pelor, Melora, Avandra etc.)

Players retain their 100gp, but gain the adventurer’s kit, as well as any level 1 magical item of their choice (that’s 360 gp worth) absolutely FREE.

Also all characters are required to have first names and last names. Come on people, be creative .

Other stuff: (FAQ)
Why Brindol specifically:
If it's a simple reason, then it's OK. I just wanted to know why you would go to Brindol specifically, instead of say, head straight to Overlook instead (or for any other town for that matter).

General background on Scales of War:

As far as i've read in the module, it takes a few references to the original Red Hand of Doom (RHOD) campaign.

JSager1015 posted a players guide (here) on Wizards that gives a lot of information with regards to Elsir Vale.

The most interesting sections to read include the Introduction (for general background info on the Vale) and Red Hand of Doom (nice 4 page summary that explains what happened in the original RHOD campaign) sections.

I intentionally skipped the Town of Brindol , History of the Elsir Vale and People of Interest sections, cause I'm gonna be changing some details of the module (like setting the RHOD campaign 100 years in the past instead of the original 40 year one), but keeping some ideas in the module (like the Diamond League heroes as the original heroes of RHOD).

But overall, I chose the 4th ED 'points of light' setting because it's the most generic of settings (allowing the DM and players to add their own characters, places and organizations as they see fit) so your character can hail from Nentir Vale (places like Fallcrest, Winterhaven etc.), Elsir Vale (where the campaign takes place) or anywhere else.

But ultimately, your character will have to be in Brindol, as that's where the game continues.

    Name:Tyramnid Hrivesol
    Class: Invoker
    Race: Wilden

    Picture
    vigil.jpg
    Background
Tyramnid did not know how he left the Feywild as a youth, nor does he know how to return. One day he was walking amongst the woods of the Feywild, when he passed between two trees and suddenly found himself in a forest in the plane of mortals. These new woods were strange and different to him, they thrived with life and energy, but with less majesty and wonder of the woods he was accustomed to. The only thing that was familiar to him was the warm feeling of Meloras presence within the forest. Tyramnid spent months within the forest trying to find a way back into the Feywild so he can return to the brood of other Wilden that he belonged to. He was never able to find his way back home though.

One day the Wilden stumbled upon a group of lost explorers within the woods. They were all human and greatly interested Tyramnid since he had never seen their kind before. He realized that these men were just trying to find their way home, however their wanderings were leading them deeper into the woods, an area where its natural inhabitants would be less kind to the humans then they where to Tyramnid. While the men slept, the Wilden left markings for the men, directing them towards the safer areas of the woods. While doing this Tyramnid eventually stumbled upon an old hunting trail and directed the men towards it. Once the men made it to the old trail, they all rejoiced and thanked whatever spirit it was that had guided them safely home. Little did they know that as they followed the trail home, Tyramnid was following them to see what brood they belonged to.

The men eventually returned to a village, and what Tyramnid saw scared and intrigued him. The large wooden houses, the massive gathering of people of all races, and all the people wearing or wielding steel was completely alien to him. He walked into the town and was immediately met with looks of confusion, fear, and interest. A town guardsman ran up to Tyramnid and began bombarding him with questions. Who he was, what he was, what did he want, etc. Not used to such a situation, Tyramnid grew greatly afraid of his situation and of this man with all the questions. However someone else put a hand on the guards shoulder and told him to leave the Tyramnid alone. It was one of the explorers, who upon seeing Tyramnid immediately knew him to be the one that helped guide him and his friends home. The man vouched for Tyramnid to the town, and invited the Wilden to his home for dinner.

Tyramnid learned that town was called Witchcross, a small village bordering the Witchwoods. He spent the next several years as a member of the town, acting as a guide to those going into the woods, and assisted the local priest of Melora in his ceremonial duties. He tried living within the village but was never comfortable with the concept and instead spent most of his time within the Witchwoods.
    Personality Traits
Tyramnids personality tends to be relative to whatever aspect of nature he is currently manifesting at the time. He becomes introspec¬tive, thoughtful, and cautious when in the aspect of the ancient, violent and aggressive in the destroyer aspect, and secretive and withdrawn while in the aspect of the hunter. He has learned to control these emotions over the years, but the violent and sudden changes in personality do tend to be rather disturbing to those unfamiliar with his kind.

He is always intrigued by races and cultures that he has not yet encountered though, and becomes rather irate when someone shows a complete and utter disregard to maintaining a balance between “civilized” life and nature.
    mannerisms and appearances
Like all Wilden, Tyramnid has no true sense of individuality and refers to himself in the plural sense of “we” instead of the singular “I”.

Just like his personality, Tyramnids physical appearance tends to change depending on whatever aspect of nature he is channeling that day. When in the aspect of the ancients, his eyes and leaves turn stark white. The aspect of the destroyer sees jagged spurs break through the skin and eyes darken to lustrous black. Finally, the hunter’s aspect camouflages his body with alternating green and brown patterns, while the eyes assume a bright emerald color.

He carries with him a wooden staff with the markings of Melora , and has a wooden spear slung over his back. Although he personally does not care for wearing it, Tyramnid has come to accept the protective benefits of steel armor, and wears a set of chainmail with the symbol of Melora engraved on the chest. However whenever he can, he will choose to not wear the armor and only wears it when he knows a battle is imminent.

Why he left for Brindol and reactions to the raid
While within Witchcross Tyramnid had a strange dream. In it a woman approached him and told him she had a task for him. As she spoke the womans form changed to that of an elf, an adult green dragon, a wilden, and that of a human woman dressed in seafaring attire. She told him to go to the town of Brindol for soon it would need the help of a gathering of strangers and Tyramnid must join them and aid them in their quest.

When he awoke from this dream, Tyramnid was sure that the woman was Melora herself. So he gathered up his few belongings and headed towards Brindol. He arrived the day after the previous nights raid and was greeted by the sight of severely burned buildings, people running around trying to care for the wounded, as well as the massive size of the town simply floored Tyramnid. He immediately tried to help wherever he could, whether it was clearing away rubble and debris, or offering a pray over someone’s whose wounds were just too great to properly heal. All the while he asked about what happened. He was told about the Red Hands raid on the town, and how they even brought in a massive ogre throwing exploding casks of fire. He also learned about a group of adventurers who managed to prevent a tavern from burning down, as well as defeated the ogre and the hobgoblins that accompanied it.

Believing this was the group he was told about, Tyramnid continued helping wherever he could all the while trying to find this group of adventurers so he could join them.

Applying for a couple of D&D PbPs, but haven't gotten into one ever, and never played D&D. Gotta put your name in the hat

    Brandis Sorvan, Human Paladin

    Background
Brandis grew up with his parents, and he couldn't say his childhood was unhappy. He couldn't say he wasn't restless, however. Something felt missing, and he felt like he did not belong. When he picked up the hammer for the first time, he felt almost complete. That feeling of almost being what he knew he should be inspired him to train, to learn the ways of the sword. And so at the age of 18, he went out into the world.

By and large, he traveled alone and did odd jobs for money. He was paid well enough, but he was still restless. Then, just a few months ago, it happened. He had just completed a job for some worshipers of Avandra and had checked into an in for the night. As he was finally beginning to fall asleep, a bright flash erupted in the room, and a Dragonborn angel appeared by his bed.

The angel told him that Bahamut was pleased by his actions, and that he knew of his restlessness. In exchange for worship, the angel offered Brandis the powers of the divine. He accepted.

    Personality
While not straight-laced, Brandis is a devout worshipper of Bahamut. He is noble and kind, but his anger (when tapped) is a force of nature. He is always concerned slightly about his finances, but this comes second to his honor.

    Why Brindol?
Brandis heard news of the recent goblin raid on Brindol, and perceived that the innocent were being threatened.

I'd like to get in on a bit of PbP as it looks like I'm stuck in the DMing role in my RL game for the foreseeable future!

I wouldn't have any probs at all with at least one post a day and I'm not currently in any PbP's.

    So here goes!

    Obsidian Duskborn, Goliath Warden

    Background
Twenty five harsh winters have passed since the ill-omened Obsidian Duskborn was brought into this world in the Giantshield mountains. Fifteen wet and windy falls since he was cast out by his superstitious clan mates. Ten brutally hot summers since he found his calling as warrior for the very earth itself, and one fate bound spring since he set out on a quest to find the reason for the earths keening.

He feels the pain the earth feels within his very core and it does not come from within the Giantshield itself, it comes from the lower lands, inhabited by the soft skins, the stout folk and all manner of other creatures “Dusk” is yet to meet.

The healing of the world must begin now, and the tremors only he can feel lead him to the town that the locals call Brindol. The world spirit must be appeased, and Dusk will do whatever it takes, if blood must be spilled then he is the weapon the land has chosen.

    Appearance
Dusk stands at 7’6”, weighing in at around 300lbs, with heavily muscled proportions. He is black of skin with grey striations marking his head arms and chest. The lithoderms that marks his skin are a pearly white the same as his eyes. He wears thick hides and a fur cloak with his stout shield slung over his back and his prized warhammer in hand.

    Picture
His colouring is actually the inverse of this picture, but Goliath artwork is damn hard to find!goliath.jpg

    What's he like?
While he is not naive Dusk is not overly familiar with the larger world, he is a loner not through choice but circumstance and longs for the day when he may find another clan that would accept him for the hardy warrior, steadfast companion and protector of nature that he is. So far his contact with other races has been limited although he does have a dire hatred for giantkin and goblinfolk for their unnecessary cruelty and arrogance.

He is passionate about his quest, but he is not blind to the suffering of others and finds it hard to stand aside when another suffers. Dusk is slow to smile and laugh but when he does it is like an avalanche, first a slow rumbling very quickly turning into a cacophonous roar, with much back slapping and thigh thumping.

If I submit a cleric, would your party have a preference for pew pew or SMASH crunch?

I'm in my first PbP now, but having taste of playing DnD I want more, more, MORE! I'm also unfamiliar with the Scales path, but I'll read up the links you provided and the IC thread today.

In terms of our current party set-up, we've got 2 range focused classes (our wizard and sorcerer) and 3 melee focused classes (a warlord, barbarian, and fighter).

I'm not really picky when it comes to what you choose.

You can have a melee focused character, a range character, or even a hybrid of the two (note: by hybrid I mean playstyle, not the hybrid classes)

So you can go wild if you want, as long as your character doesn't have anything that's banned (class, race etc.)

Garwin Smelt of the lost Iron Smelter Clan of Blackrock Hold (Dwarf Invoker of Wrath)

    Brief Bio:
Garwin was found as a young child of 4 wandering the caverns near a Dwarf stronghold gripping a holy symbol of Moradin. His father had given it to him when before telling him to run from the evil that had found its way into Blackrock Hold where the Iron Smelter Clan had made their home since time immortal.

Garwin was taken in and cared for. His affinity for Moradin nurtured and he led a quiet and productive life, but there was always a calling in his heart to seek out his former clan. He needed to know if they had all been destroyed or if some still lived.

When Garwin turned 30 he set off to see the world and search for any leads on where his Clan may have escaped to. Rumors have sent him to a small town named Brindol, on the hopes that a blacksmith in the town had heard of the Iron Smelters moving south.

    Trous Relvai, elf cleric

He's a battle cleric with a javelin and shield focusing on improving his allies' attacks and healing them so they can attack some more.

The personality/background info is spoilered for length. I ran kind of long here, but the more I wrote the more I liked this guy. I hope you feel the same as you read. I'm open to tips/changes if you have ideas that will fit better with the party.
Trous Relvai does not shun society, but moves through it unattached. The swarthy elf is largely inconspicuous moving among villages in his loose cloak, bringing help when he can. Sometimes this means calling on Avandra’s divine aid to bring someone back from the Raven Queen’s call. Sometimes it’s lending his strong back to rebuilding a storm-damaged home or a town wall undercut by a flood. And sometimes it’s necessary to draw blood in order to protect innocents.

When young, he felt a calling to venture out. As he traveled and saw more of the world, he became more tuned to that voice, and identified it with Avandra of Change. He is now old enough to be skeptical of society, especially of those who preach of honor and justice, and young enough to devote himself to those same causes.
His clothing is ascetic, simple and somber. His chainmail shirt is softened with a tabard in Avandra's green, of which one may catch a glimpse beneath his flowing, dusky cloak. The cloak's hood is often drawn up in cities to help him move with less attention. His walking stick wears a leather cap hiding the javelin's keen point, its shaft etched with simple, interlacing patterns that his fingers idly trace when he stops walking. A small shield on his back bears a “C” shaped cutout on his strong side, giving his javelin freer movement across his body without having to drop his guard in combat.

    Why he's here:
Several days ago, during prayerful meditation, he heard Avandra’s voice again. Not distinct words, but a clear urging, an intuitive push at his back and, almost a pleading sensation. Opening his eyes, he no longer saw the orchard where he rested, but his visual perspective had shifted onto the region’s main road, which lay a league to his east. Before he could find the meaning in this vision, the perspective changed again, and he seemed to be racing up this road, still gaining speed until he had the sensation of incredible, impossible flight. Forest, meadows and towns tore past, visible only long enough to glimpse occasional landmarks, sometimes leaving the road and traveling overland. The vision slowed, then stopped, focusing on a village. His eyes watered from the force of the vision. He closed them to squeeze out the tears and “GO!” rang through his mind. Opening his eyes, he found himself in the same orchard. He blinked again, gathered his pack and shield, took up his javelin/walking stick and carried all he owned toward the road.
He knew the journey was too far to run, but he set a brisk pace, sleeping only a few hours during the nights. As he climbed what he knew would be the last hill before the village, he saw an ominous orange glow in the evening sky, and kicked himself for not hurrying more. Cresting the hill, he saw the town from his vision, but this time fires were eating the town and he could already hear cries for aid. He lost no time racing to help.

I'm update once I finally find a pic.

I'll be submitting a Razorclaw Shifter Predator Druid.

New to PbP's. New to 4e, never played a controller before. Lots of 3.5 experience IRL. Oddly enough, this particular game led me to join the forums, and then I got lucky and made it into Kelor's KotS game. Yay! I figure I'll give it a shot to submit for the game the brought me here too. Wow, sounds like flattery but its really not. (unless it gets me in....then its total flattery :) )

    RacesShifterMale.jpg

    Fan-Gloratha "Fang" Wolfson

    Background
Fang was raised in deep in the woods of the Elsir Vale. His tribe was once small band of Razorclaws, sired through the generations and led by an ancient Werewolf, known of Fenris. When Fang was just a young pup, so young he couldn't properly pronounce his own name yet, Fenris (in a bout of senility) went berzerk and slaughtered the entire tribe. Fang was spared Fenris' fury and rescued by his ranger fathers animal companion, a winter wolf. The winter wolf spirited young Fang away and kept him warm and fed. Teaching him to hunt and live in the deep woods. Fang spent most of his young life running with the wolves. Eventually Fang grew up and in his feral teenage years chanced upon a wandering Elf druid, whose beauty completely overwhelmed Fang. Fang fell in love with the Elf-maid, who taught him her ways and the ways of women too. Eventually, she returned to her own people, and Fang was left alone with the wolves who had raised him. Until the Goblins came...

    Personality
Fang is just civillized enough to get by in mixed company, thanks to his elf maid but is clearly more comfortable alone in the woods. How he interacts with others is something of a mystery, not having much experience with the outside world. He is used to communicating in grunt and growls, not so much with words, a loner by circumstance and not choice. Frankly, civillization wigs him out, but its very interesting He would often takes wild shape for days at a time, and lived as a wolf with his Pack.

    Why Brindol?
While Fang was out hunting one day, in wolf shape, he chased a deer far away from his home turf. Finally catching it, Fang took his time and enjoyed his feast. Stripping the carcass he made sure it was left for the less mighty forests scavengers to have an easy time to claiming some of the carcass. Making his way home, the scent of blood and fire greeted his nose. The old Winter Wolf, the loyal companion animal who saved Fang, and three of her pups lay dead at the hands of a passing wargroup of Hobs & Goblins. The only thing stopping Fang from rushing out and slaying them all in a fit of vengance, was the massive Ogre that was with them. Vowing revenge, Fang tracked the warband all the way to Brindol and watched them set upon the city. This was his chance, with the warband busy sacking the city, Fang might be able to get in there and pick off the gobs one by one, and have his revenge. He had nothing else now anyway. No family, no elf-maid, no future.

    Name: Beda Owen
    Class: Bard
    Race: Half-Elf

    469009-story.bard_large.jpg

Hail and well met! There are many tales to be told, but none as exciting as the one about to unfold.
I hope to join this group of adventurers and record their exploits and see a bit of the world while I do it.
I got my feet wet in a Keep on the Shadowfell PbP that died before we hit level 2. I'd love to give it another shot and thought I'd keep things lively with a bard. I've played a few 3.5 campaigns in college, but haven't found any local gaming groups looking for new people since graduating and have moved around a bit.

    Background:
Beda grew up helping on the family farm in Brindol, and passed his time writing lyric verse while tending a small herd of sheep. As he grew he found he had quite a talent for song, and would often sing a tune at the local inn on the nights his friends gathered or visitors with money to tip came through. He has been suffering from a case of wanderlust for some time, knowing there is a world to explore but not knowing where to start exploring it. He had been preparing for some time and then found this intriguing group moving through town and knew this was a sign that the time had come.

    Personality:
His life so far has had highlights of adventure, like the time he had to scare a wolf away from the herd, and the night his poetry elicited more than a giggle from the neighbor's daughter...but he knows there is more out there waiting for him. The group of adventurers that recently arrived have fanned his dream of adventure into what could surely be the opportunity of a lifetime.

    Why Brindol:
I'm ready to be done with this place, there's gotta be more out there right??

cant seem to get the hang of mythweavers yet, BUT
Skweeks, Warforged Warden(thunder warden from the new primal power if I can, if not will make earth strength).
Found and reactivated in a nearby forest by a druid. In the process, he found his connection with the primal spirits. the druid, while appreciative of his nature, sent him into the world (and out of his woods) to do good in the world around him. he arrived in brindol, the morning following the attack, and asked how he can help, and was directed towards the heroes...

Sadly, his memories of how he came to be in the forest, as well as much of his education, were lost.

    Also

    Djett Firestorm, artificer.
Djett hails from the far east, and has been traveling across the land in search if the chance for fame and fortune, if only to supply his research funds. A bookworm at heart, he biggest concern is the study and creation of rituals and items.

I can't wait to see who gets chosen. I've rather enjoyed reading the IC thread for this game, and the little award system at the end of each fight reminds me of the loading screen in between chapters for Left 4 Dead. Which probably means if I get chosen, and hopefully I am, than I'll probably be aiming to make it on that list at the end of each fight.

    Just a heads-up...
Races Allowed (Those not listed are banned):
    - All PHB 1 and 2 races
    - Genasi (FRPG), Githzerai (Dungeon 378), Minotaur (Dragon 369) and Wilden (DDI) are allowed.

this means warforged don't exist in this world.

Your artificer seems to be a bit ok, just remember to post all the details needed for your submission, and a link to the character sheet (Myth-weavers and Orokos are fine). Check the previous submissions on this thread for some ideas on what you need, e.g. background, mannerisms, etc...

    Submissions are open till 5PM GMT+2 time (that's 10AM on GMT-5 time i think).

I'll also choose the winning submission in a few hours after that (probably 7-8PM GMT+2 time).

Yeah, I intentionally give those awards out (even in my IRL game) , to give players a more rewarding experience, so that even though your playing as a team, that I will still award players for individual kills, cunning strategies etc. I also tossed in the "Achievement Unlocked" idea cause it fits pefectly with the whole reward system.

Fine, but only on the condition that I sick Orcus, Demogorgon, Vecna, and one of each of the Epic level Chromatic dragons on the level 1 party (Hell, I'd even throw in Bane, if I had his stats)...
Just kidding, but no seriously, there can be only ONE!

    Ok, I've finally decided...

    I'll pick...

Dammit, I lost my train of thought...

Where was I, I can't decide, their all such good submissions...

It's like Sophie's choice again. On one hand, I don't like having so much choices;there all so cool submissions, on the other hand, those not chosen will stay frozen, lost and forgotten in the empty void that is the internet...

Seriously, we need like, more DM's around here.

But if anyone's curious, these were my top 5 nominees:

    - Tyramnid Hrivesol, Wilden Wrathful Invoker by lodwilk
    - Garwin Smelt, Dwarf Wrathful Invoker by Dajian
    - Trous Relvai, Elf cleric by Bhow
    - Obsidian Duskborn, Goliath Earthstrength Warden by Buttons
    - Fan-Gloratha "Fang" Wolfson, Razorclaw Shifter Predator Druid by Steelhawk

For their cool backgrounds and stories.

    OK... OK... enough stalling!

    Please welcome...

Bhow...starring as Trous Relvai, the Elven Cleric of Avandra.

Rest of you, like I said, if you were in my nominees, then you guys were awesome.

As for the rest, they were cool, but didn't really stand out to my tastes/preferences. But cool submissions nonetheless.

Seriously, people should like play 1 or 2 PbP games, and Dm another one, like my sig. Then the world would be a happier place...

    Thank you and good night!

    Consider it done!

Thanks, T., I'm excited to join the group (and I hope you don't mind the abbreviation). I'm also glad I didn't have to make your choice. Thanks to all the submitters, because I enjoyed reading your characters and I hope they find their ways into other games.

After reading the tavern battle/patron rescue and "Let Go of my Ogre," I'm sure you've got lots of (horribly) wonderful surprises in store for us.
