So I wake up this morning to hear that schools are closed due to the snow.
If I were about 20 years younger, this news would have filled me with glee. As it stands, I realized that my commute into work was going to be quite exciting. Since I get into work early (7:30-3:30 is a nice schedule, not too early but I miss most traffic), I get to drive before the snow plows show up.
Now I am looking out the window as the snow steadily and continually falls. It's not a snow storm, but a constant piling up. I wonder how fun getting home will be. I hope the snow lets up soon, and we don't have the situation we had a couple of years ago where it was illegal to actually drive anywhere.
It is customary for it to snow around Halloween out here. I'm just glad have a shovel in my car in order to dig it out.
Anybody else having to deal with this wretched stuff?
