Oh Cloud, you're such a pedophile.

So I finally got the Sequence in FF7 where you go on a "date" with Barret. They get into the ride thingy, and their conversation goes something along these lines: "Barret: You know Cloud, people are going to think this is a date or something"
"Cloud: I'm not interested in you."
"Barret: Then who?"
"Cloud: Someone you know"
"Barret: ... MARLENE?!"
"Cloud:..."
"Barret: *General cursing*"

So, let's talk about funny secrets/easter eggs we've found in games.

Also, I was once fighting Prince Of Persia: Two Thrones and I apparently imputted this cheat code and the sound team credits began playing out loud. It just struck me as really funny for some reason.

I don't know why but for some reason I feel that they were leaning more towards that just being a "what the fuck are you talking about barret" moment rather than a pedophilia joke

Anyone remember becoming Francis' gimp in Fallout 2?

If you go that route, then for the rest of the game (even towards the very end) whenever you enter an area there's a small chance that none of the characters will be able to interact with you, they just walk around saying "You and Francis, huh" and other mocking comments. It's awesome.

I always liked the guy in the back of one of the diners in fallout 2 that will ask you for $1000 when you talk to him, then if you pay him and talk to him again, he will ask you if you are willing to have sex with him for $1000... so you can get hot gay sex for free... yeah...

People say "Aerith" to denote their self-percieved 1337ness. Frankly I hated the bitch, cheered when [spoiler:a2f3ab990a]she died[/spoiler:a2f3ab990a], and don't give a fuck whether or not I'm "true to the original holy texts of the great Square" or whatever. It's just a Japanese approximation of a distinctly not-Japanese name. Personally I think Aeris is a more correct spelling, since it's the actual name and not an approximation.

Aeris is called Aerith in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, and, if I'm not mistaken and IMDB isn't lying to me, Advent Children. And since those games and the movie was made after FFVII, it's not a terribly strange idea to think that Aerith is her official name now.

    Actually, here's a quick question.

I've seen Advent Children a lot, but I don't think there is a point in the movie where Aeris is referenced by name. Am I just having a memory lapse?
