So maybe you didn't like Turok, or maybe you've just been waiting for the next awesome dinosaur killing game. Maybe in a cheetos induce COD fever you thought "Damn this would be better if the nazis were dinosaurs".
Well maybe, just maybe, this game is for you.

The game looks like what Turok was supposed to be. It's smooth looking, the dinosaurs look real, and there's no gun totting loonies who can snipe from 100 yards away with a combat shotgun. The game has a COD look, rather than the sometimes hated uberschwarzroidenegger look of GOW fame. The only question, is there a bow and arrow? I sure hope so.
For those thinking "What about the children"? Relax, this game sports an apparent lack of naughty language and all the baddies appear to be of the non humanoid variety. (Germany rejoice) Yep, it's been a long time since I've heard a merc in a FPS proclaim "What the Heck".
The best part; It's on all the major home systems, comes out Nov 3rd, and is priced at only $39.99!
So far, so decent?

So you say it's at least decent?
Looks decent from what I have seen. I don't think it's the next Halo, but it does seem to be as good as any other FPS out there. I'm going to rent it tomorrow, I'll post my thoughts the next day.

Dinosaurs doesn't mean insta great, you gotta make them some good dinosaurs.
Gaming history has proven this. But still, Dino games are so rare, I can only hope.

Shooting laser beams is fine, but you know you really want to charge at your foes and rip appendages off their armour plated mechs with your fearsome jaw attacks. In between leaping from rooftop to rooftop while fighting helicopters and pterodactyls, I mean.

The pic description says 360.
I dunno man, this seems simple enough to make the Wii controls work. Shooting with the Wiimote has proven to be quite awesome. I won't be able to tell you unless I can only find a Wii copy, sorry man. But if that is the case, I will gladly rent it and let you know.
Or I might rent PS360 and Wii to see which copy to get my son. 8-)

Three thoughts:
- Any co-op?
- I would be really happy if video games went through a dinosaur craze, similar to the zombie craze of the past few years. I honestly don't think I could get burned out on dinosaurs, but game developers are welcome to try.

There is no such thing as "too far" in regards to my fictional Dino Riders game.
In fact I may put that on the box.
This would be awesome. There are so many things I want to do with dinosaurs. On the one hand, I want a slow-paced adventure game. On the other hand, I also want a game that allows me to run around as various dinosaurs, wreaking havoc in a contemporary, urban environment.
I love you for just knowing who the Dino Riders actually are. Not many people remember them.
I used to have that awesome Tyranosaur toy with the lasers and back carrier and snake/frog bad guys. Dino Riders were awesome.
