When waking up after a particularly terrible night's sleep, does anyone else find themselves sabotaged by their own brain?
When I'm tired, clocks look like some kind of madman's puzzle.

As far as talk goes, they've got nothing. The thing shooting themselves in the foot is slotting Leno where he is. They've locked themselves out from serious dramas airing on their network ever again, killing the 10:00p slot. Southland just got shitcanned because it was too gritty/violent/whatever to air in the 9:00p slot. As a result, viewers are leaving for other stations. Local networks are losing their 10:00p to 11:00p local news tie-in, Philly's local NBC news is down something like 25% since Leno took the 10:00p slot. Conan, who always enjoyed excellent ratings even in his late slot is slumping down a third of what he used to do. I think a total of six people watch Douchebag McGee at this point.
Of course, Comcast buying NBC Universal might change all that.
EDIT: I knew I had heard this somewhere today. NPR story on Morning Edition. Philly is down 37%. That's staggering. Also, don't get me started on how they changed the format of Leno's show to accommodate the local news stations. They fucked that corpse a little too hard.
man jimmy fallon sucks on his show. I wanted to give him a few months at least to get his act together, but he can't even get his audience engaged.
I watched him interview Kaitlyn Olsen and it was just awkward. It made me feel awkward watching it. I honestly felt like I could do a better job, and I am not by any standard a socialite.
So it looks like our Christmas bonus will be 2.85%, down from our target of 4%. And we're payed half what our American counterparts get, and £3,000-£4,000 less than the average Northern Ireland salary. Lame.
Sorry, that's all I read there. Sucks to be making what you do in comparison to Americans or whatever, but it's a bonus. I don't think my place of employment even knows what that word means. Most places don't know what that means.

I still can't believe they gave him his own show. NBC's nighttime shuffling is really backfiring on them, from Leno on down.
Honestly though, the show would be better if they replaced him with a potted plant, or maybe a wall of drying paint.
