I'm going to see the Shuttle Launch in February!
Where should I go? Visitor Complex? It's cheaper, but further away. Causeway? Closer, more expensive, die in a fireball?
There are enough stupid posts on this board to tell me that at least SOME of you are from Florida, so where should I get my tickets?

During my last year of high school our computer class was given the opportunity to go to Florida, and we got to vote on which landmarks we'd visit. Of course everyone voted on Disneyworld and Universal, but no one raised their hand for the Kennedy Space Center. Lousy bastards.
On the plus side I got to see a satellite launch from Mainstreet USA, so that was cool.
I was saying to Scarlet St. just a few nights ago, one of the things I really want to do at some point is see a shuttle launch. I checked the schedule for 2010 and I don't think it'd be possible to make any of them.
Isn't there then going to be a launch hiatus for a while?
fucking go to the causeway, because seriously, how many space launches do you think you're going to see in your life? and if you die in a fireball, you died in a fireball watching a space launch
and then i got all these terrible parasites all over my body because we were at the beach and they were semi clear and horrible
