Recently my wow really lags up whenever I open anything in the background.
Open a web brower, I drop to 3fps. Try and watch something on youtube quick, 1fps.
I haven't had this problem until recently, any thoughts H/A?

Has WoW's application priority somehow been set to low? Open up the task manager and check.

Installed any new programs lately? Captain is right about task manager. Open it up and see whats going on, then open one of your other apps and see what happens.

It's also worth running a check disk. It can clear up weird problems. Just go to a command prompt and type in "chkdsk [your drive letter] /r". That will do the full check upon a reboot.
