also you can just take it into photoshop and use that sponge tool on desaturate then that dodge tool to whiten them up

but using the curve tool to take away a belly and clearing up your skin with blotch-away edit or whatever means you are going to be treated to the delightful experience of a girl trying to hide the fact that she is disappointed in you physically

the curves tool fixes exposure and colour saturation. Something that makes photos look better and skin colour/teeth/eyes appear more natural
and you know what, I don't see the problem in cloning a big pussie temporary pimple out of an otherwise great photo

I am 100% in agreement with this, particularly if you are using the picture to represent yourself
little things that have to do with photo quality or temporary blemishes are fine, but things that actually change the way you look as a person are not fine
I say this as someone who is against Myspace angles
now there's nothing wrong with taking bazillion pictures of you to get one awesome shot of you... as long as we can still tell it's you and we can actually see your face the way we would if we were to walk up to you and shake your hand
