got me to thinking, what are MY games of the year? and what are yours?
I'd have to say my overall game of the year has been Dragon Age, no question, followed closely by Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Handheld game of the year would have to go to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Breaking that one down a little further, PSP game of the year is Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. My iphone game of the year is The Price Is Right, because that's the only one I've played that's been any good. Most disappointing game would probably be Brutal Legend, as that was not my cup of tea at all. Most surprising game would probably be Batman, since I didn't think it was possible to make a licensed comic book game that was legitimately a AAA title. Best music game is, shit, I dunno, Rock Band Unplugged, since it's the only one I've actually played.

game of the year mua2 for sure. i had loads of fun with that shit. and it got me into comics.
IT is incredibly unforgiving. And normally, I don't like that sort of thing - I'm playing Dragon Age on Normal because fuck overly difficult fights, I wanna have fun.
But that game pulls it off admirably.

Arkham Asylum was an incredible original game, and the best fucking super-hero game of all time.
I lol'd at L4D2 getting best XBox game.
I watched my old roommate play Demon's Souls and I really hate that type of unforgiving game but at the same time I was intrigued.
