Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Yes, you can just photograph your stuff. Honestly, that's probably what I'll do anyway for most of it unless I can be arsed dragging out my scanner.

I have a scanner but it is on the other side of the Earth. I'm buying a tablet soon but I prefer pencils and paper anyway. If photos of paper are okay then sign me up.

    Taya - my goals are:
    1. get better at shading
    2. learn how to draw fabric folds/creases
    3. improve proportions

I'm a beginner so I have to keep it simple.

Happy New Year to all ACers!

    Here are my resolutions:

    1. Draw/Paint something every day
    2. Finish 1 painting each month
    3. Learn to better use color theory
    4. Build variability to portfolio
    5. Do at least one blog entry to my comic blog each month
    6. Learn Flash/ActionScript to use as a tool for user interface design

    Hello AC.
I have sort of already made a resolution to draw every day, and its probable that joining a group where i have to upload my drawings every day will prevent me from flaking out of this resolution by week 2, so can i sign up to this

Im just a beginner at the moment so My goals are simply to draw every day, and hopefully identify areas for improvement as i go on.

And apparently that's more than 'some' (assuming and clone and its clone-ee share comparable likes/dislikes)

In the short-lived animated MTV series Clone High, Gandhi's clone is fond of high fives.

    Aight fug it Im in.

1 ~ One sketch per day. I never just sketch anymore so this will likely be the hardest.

2 ~ One large scale Abstract per month.

3 ~ One full comic book format story, length not important, per month.

RAWR okay now Im gonna get some soup. Seriously. And bathe in it.

    Nothing to see here.

How are you going to get your fix of Jersey Shore then?

And how are you going to not watch anything to do with music for all hours of the day?

  • erisian popeerisian pope Registered User
    edited January 2010
I'm too old for these things. I spend all day yellin' at the dang kids to get off my lawn and shaking some sort of stick-like object aimlessly in the air. Them Jersey Shore kids prob'ly spend too much time on people's lawns anyhoo.

Tam, it's a real trial. Without MTV I end up watching music-related video material all too often. Them kids need to turn down that noise. I think they have it allaway turnt up.

As for crits, do we just post them in our own respective threads, or will there be a secondary thread for resolution art criticisms?
