yes this is sort of true

the sick part about the way they kill dogs for food is that they often drag out the dog's death so it gets pumped full of its own adrenaline right before it dies, the justification being that it "improves" the flavour of the meat

generally speaking if an animal is farmed, it is being fed certain foods designed to improve its overall yield (in terms of both edible matter and taste)

so really a farm animal tends to have higher levels of fat and softer meat, while an animal that has not been farmed is more likely to have higher muscle content which means stringier and tougher meat

I have personally never eaten dog
