it is very good, but be sure to get the expansion as well, the Britannia campaign is excellent

pretty frikkin awesome
you gotta learn not to overshot when flying though space, and sometimes you (or at least I) can forget to "lock" yourself to a surface so you just bounce off it instead of walking on it, and there's only one weapon but that's ok because it's an assaulr tigle, sniper rifle and grenade launcher combined into one
more maps, maybe a new weapon or two, and this game would be much better
I recently bought The Orange Box, Torchlight, Braid and The Witcher.
I never played portal.

also, I don't know what you jerks' problem is
borderlands is plenty fun single-player
got me a good explosive sniper rifle and a ridiculously powerful revolver that only holds two rounds at a time
man, ain't nothing like sniping a dude from across a long divide, missing, having him run at you and then hitting him with an explosive sniper round that blows his leg clean off.
I'd enjoy the multiplayer except for the fact that I can't get it working with my friends.

I really enjoy playing it with the wireless 360 controller I have, and then reaching out for the mouse with my right hand while controlling crouching and movement on the controller with the left when I'm doing a lot of long-distance sniping.
Best of both worlds.

I'm not saying it is bad.
I just personally don't have any fun with it for some reason. It almost feels like it was just meant to have other humans to run around with because I'm not a huge fan of the world.
And also instead of claptrap being some endearing, wacky character, it is really annoying because it just loops the things it says quite a lot
