My issue is that ellen and jo introduced the concept of John not being this bad ass hunter, but kind of a failure, prior to that there was no such distinction and their bullshit kind of ticked me off like that. Besides Ellen was always more annoying matronly then anything else.

    Just think about that.

Just think long and hard about it.

So I'm kind of curious how the dolphin suit is rigged up. Is it hydraulic or just kind of actuated?

Like I know the first time I watched The Prestige would be completely different if I knew what the twist was off the bat.

For some movies it makes a second watch, or in the games a second playthrough more interesting. But it does rob the viewer of a great experience.

Yeah I think the prestige is just as good if not better the second time I watched it, but man it would suck not having that first viewing experience.

    Yeah I do that too.

Once when I was movie/music/game store, HMV, and the cashier girl, who was pretty cute in a punk way, asked if I wanted the ending to the Orphan spoiled for me (I forget how we got on topic to the orphan) and it was like sure.

Now I know that I will see the orphan. Well maybe if I am drunk and/or high.

John was a very self-centered, do it a lone type hunter that whenever he works with someone he finds them expendable.

Just like in season 4 when Sam is acting in a very dick manner, using people and telling lies to people to get them to help, like the little boy with the reapers, or the episode when they find out they have a brother, Dean makes the connection that he is more like John then he is.

    :(

spoilers for bioshock, the main spoiler

Atlas the person helping you is actually the real bad guy of the game, the phrase "Would you kindly" is a psychological code word he uses on you to get you to do things against your will (well that parts kind of the developer being cheeky as in fps's you tend to do whatever people tell you to).
Ironically, I commented on the "against your will thing" during the demo, when you lower the gun - I said something to the effect of "now, why can't I do that normally?"; my brother later mentioned that he thought I had figured out the twist. I also didn't trust Atlas. I saved the Little Sisters simply to spite him.

    unrelated: Zorg is wonderfully done!

I dunno I always read it as.

John was the weaker of the two and Jo's father died due to his weakness, I think Meg taunted how much john was a coward, which was probably a demon lie, but it established the narrative.

Still I hope they secretly signed him back on to play god for the final episode.
