Help me remember an old PC RTS! - SOLVED

This one should be easy for you guys. :D
A medieval rts, came out in the late 90's.
You could ally with other kingdoms sometimes, but mostly there were all douchebags.
The main point of the game was to beat this evil empire, led by this dude in a skeletor mask who would berate you in FMV's occasionally.
Your units could gain experience and awards for winning difficult battles.

    Was Warlords 3 real-time? I thought the first two were turn-based.

    The Warlords series is turn-based, but the Warlords Battlecry branch is RTS.

    Did your dudes march around in formation? And, did the dwarves quarter step everywhere they went? Then it was probably Kohan.

    I never played any of the Warlord RTS games. Were they any good? I've only played Warlords 1 and 2.

    Warlords 3 was turn based, but the rest fits - especially the FMVs comment.

    After further research it was warlords 2! :o
