This is the primary reason I'm having trouble with the Vanguard or Infiltrator choice
If I go Vanguard, I take the risk that the charge plus in-close fighting becomes a liability rather than a benefit (I don't know for sure, I'm trying my damnedest to not find out what the combat's like until I get it tomorrow)
On the other, if I take Infiltrator, it makes Garrus redundant and Tali semi-redundant (or so I think), which... no.
