    Are names about other parts of the anatomy acceptable? Because if so, I propose that we christen a future settlement Los Danglelies. Preferably on the southern coast of a landmass.

    Nominations closed!

    The cabinet (Imperfect, travathian, Raiden333) shall vote in cyan on the following issues:

    Shall we switch to slavery? (Obviously this is mostly answered already, but we shall be formal)

    Shall we require the construction of phallic symbols in all cities named after the great wang?

    Shall we give the immortal God Queen the ability to declare war in order to steal workers without asking for the cabinet's approval?

    Shall we rename Lisbon Heraclion when it is inevitably conquered by the great Egyptian empire?

    Everyone else shall vote for one city name that they themselves did not nominate. They shall do this in orange. Also, potential governors should PM me a build order or a general priority (food, commerce, production, workers, military, whatever). You can also use this to campaign in the thread, but I'll be able to keep better track if you PM me. The top two choices will probably be built in the next update.

    If a few unfortunate souls must labour on a little more so that the greater populace may bask in wealth, what is the harm, I say?

    Nay on executive warmaking without consulation.

    Not unless a dire and pressing need can be shown. And not a 9/11-style need, I'm talking Pearl Harbor or Franz Ferdinand style need.

    Yay on renaming Lisbon.

    Though I would caution against expending our resources on engines of war just yet. I mean, we haven't even invented a good way for me to keep track of all this fabulous WEALTH I'm accumulating by abusing my post I MEAN serving my fellow man!
