Does the collective clipboard work with files and images and shit? or is it just text?

Yeah I've had Chrome installed and running as my primary browser on my home laptop since the day it launched. At first I didn't change back to Firefox out of laziness, but now I won't change back because it has the extensions that I need and that's that I guess. It seems to run pretty slick most of the time, too.
I still run a mix of IE/FF at work though.

If I remember correctly it beats the pants off it in terms of benchmarks.
They're both perfectly fine for everyday use, it's just a matter of personal preference.
It's been well over a year since I really played with another browser, so I couldn't really tell you, especially now that Chrome has extensions.

I like being able to separate one window with two tabs into two windows with one tab.
My screen seems bigger with chrome.
I've been told it runs faster but honestly I haven't noticed.
Any add-ons for firefox that I was using had chrome extension equivalents when I switched.
I might look into it to replace Firefox as my backup browser.

I think that's pretty much the case for me. I probably use them both in equal amounts. At work I use FF because it currently has a better web developer tool bar and our CMS is optimised to run in FF, but at home I use Chrome and I don't tend to do anything heavy-duty so it handles whatever I throw at it very well.
"Firefox is already running!"
"fuck you I'm going to chrome"
holy crap
only seems to work for text, but still, that's really cool.

How is it implemented? Does it just type it into the other machine, or what?
Try it with just a huge amount of text. Like, a big term paper. Or a Defender post.

Just copied and pasted the Wikipedia entry on the US Declaration of Independence and it worked fine.
For files it's not a huge issue since I can just throw'em into Dropbox and it'll sync automatically.
Also, I'm gonna second that thing about Chrome making it feel as though the browser is larger, because, well, it is. Chrome got rid of/hides a lot of options and tweaks so you have more space to do what a browser is supposed to do.

it probably has those by now though
Yup, that was the clincher for me!
Yeah, that's one of the things I really like about Opera, too. You can really trim it down. Apparently my actual browser pane right now is 2046x1073, out of 2048x1152 screen resolution. (You can have it tell you in the title bar. It seems like a weird feature, but I like leaving it on, I don't know why.)

Yes, it has them now.

Nope. There are about ten different extensions that fit the bill though
Yeah FF web dev toolbar has this too and it's really neat. In fact, there are heaps of things in the web dev toolbar that are handy to use on a daily basis.
Does anyone know of an extension for FF (or whatever) that lets you permanently apply a style-sheet to a page? Web dev toolbar lets you apply your own CSS to a page, but you have to browse your pc and load the .css file every time you visit the page and that is annoying.
Basically I want to change PA forum stylesheet from a blue bg to a subdued grey or pale colour so it doesn't stand out so much when I'm browsing through at work.
could you Greasemonkey it?

Does a good job of displaying what you need and hiding what you don't.

I prefer the MDI format you can set Opera to. Full-screen tabs kinda bug me.
I'm just listing little peeves and preferences at this point.

Also the Drag up to the Top of the Screen to Maximize or to the far left or right to make it fill half the screen.
Those are super useful.

Though I'm using UltraMon, so that might be making it act weird for me.

But it treats it as one big huge monitor. So if you maximize, it maximizes across everything.

edit: wait a minute this thread isn't about food at all anymore
Here's how I make a fruit smoothy.
Take some frozen fruit, place in magic bullet cup.
pour fruit juice (usually orange but sometimes tropical blend) over the fruit to fill most of the cup
fill the rest with yogurt
magic bullet the shit out of that bitch
enjoy.
Here's what I wanna try.
Instead of fruit, frozen veggies.
Instead of oj or tropical, tomato or clamato juice.
I don't know what to use for yogurt though...
Parmesan cheese?
Something cheese based?
