Winning. Joking aside. They are there to be god damn invincible and allow you to do early pressure or defend and safely expand early. They serve as the meat shields for your later armies as well.
I tried dying, it went very well. I tried to fast tech to immortals but I really should just have choked and build photon cannons because fucking roaches.

They can move WHILE burrowed.
