There, we saw that the Clan Akkaba - mutants with Apocalypse's bloodline - all have powers that are derivative of Apoc's own. This meant a lot of people who could shapeshift (e.g. forming blades, like Carnage did), and a variety of energy projection powers. Chamber's direct ancestor had a flaming breath (a homage/variant of Chamber's psionic energy breath).
This makes me think - though this is just an inference - that the energy blasting is part of Apoc's molecular manipulation.
In fairness though, it's damned near impossible to tell what powers Apoc has, when he started displaying them, and/or what the various authors over the years have intended.

Isn't there a website where you can bet on anything? I would like Bendis and the rest to write in a envelope who are skrulls and put that envelope into the hands fo a third party and then i would like to bet on who is a Skrull. Because I really think I am noticing a bunch of clues/patterns and I would like to know if I am really picking up on stuff or just making stuff up.

Yeah, that's why we had reason to suspect he was Chamber. The hair and the character's apparent beefiness seemed to make it less likely, though.
I wrote that a little weakly: I was implying that based on having Apocalypse's powers (or some subset thereof), perhaps he's just shapeshifting, etc.
