I'm willing to give the anime it's due. Despite the obvious plot deficiencies and art failure, I'd say they nailed the required mood and atmosphere pretty well.
There's a trillion other anime that did this way before Highschool.
Full Metal Panic, for one.
Clingy school uniforms should be a trope (it probably is, but I'm not going to lose another 3 hours reading that site).
The kicker here is that it's sort of a parody (I think).

Also I'm noticing the main character in Sora no Woto does it soo much. Cannot unhear.
That it is, and (oddly enough) by the folks who people normally went to for things like Naruto and Bleach.

Great story in the Ciel and Hisui routes (and a good enough story in the Arc route) marred by the Akiha route and generally poor production values compared to Type Moon's later efforts.
Even Kagetsu Tohya shows a marked improvement over the production values in the original game. If you ever play it, note how facial features are usually quite consistent in all the new character sprites and the improvment in the CG artwork. Compare to Tsukihime, where nearly every character sprite for Akiha (and to a lesser extent, some other characters) has different facial structures and the artist seems to have an allergy for drawing noses (he still kind of does even in F/SN, but at least it isn't as bad as Ciel's touching final scene having its tone completely ruined by a horribly drawn nose).
Read the manga, and liked what there is so far. Fun, creepy ride.
Oh, and Nrvnqsr Chaos (to those who have not encountered the series, yes, that is his real name) totally inspired me to roll a necro/dark Mastermind on City of Villains.
I love the style and the crazy cuts and "camera movements" they have going.
Of course I am also looking forward to see how many slow motion "cool" loli poses they have in every new episode.
Obligatory "Loli in a gynecologists chair" mention.
That is the real crossover that should be happening.
That reminds me. I should check if some group has finally scanlated the final 2 chapters of the first series.

They're doing two extra episodes over the next fortnight, one on Mine and Kiyora and the other with the Rising Stars Orchestra.
