Long story short, I need to extend a cable about fifty feet to my TV in my bedroom. What do I need? Where can I get it?

I hate you and you hate me.

They sell coax extenders in various lengths at Best Buy, Radio Shack and sometimes even Walmart

Sweet, I knew it would be simple. Is that the official name of it? Is it as simple as plugging it in?

Any idea how much 50 feet of it would be?

According to best buy, about 25$ for their house brand 50' cable.

    Edit:

Or, you could buy this cable from monoprice for 7.85, and just pick up the connector from best buy or wherever.

I just saw that and was going to post it here. Is that a good price? Can I find it for much cheaper elsewhere?

Also how much would a splitter cost? (not sure if thats the official name)

Monoprice usually has absurdly low prices on any type of cable. So yeah that's a good price.
