    every time i go to a pokémon event at a game store/department store I always feel slightly creeped out by the fact that myself, my family and friends who play the game with me and attend alongside me are all around 10 years older than the average fat kid huffing over his ds lite

    SE++ gamestop meetup so we don't feel quite so depressed when we all walk in for pokemon

    nintendo must have planned for the eventuality that one day they would have 20+ year olds still playing this game

    that's probably why they're $40 now

    There is a gate on the street I used to live on. It is all ornate and stuff, and has like, korean symbols and stuff on it, and a little roof. There are walls on either side, and it looks very closed and exclusionary.

    Through the gate, you can see a group of little pagoda-like thingies, and occasionally cars and stuff. And a shop.

    Do you live there, Squall? Do you live in that weird little village on the street I used to live on?

    Do I need to do anything to get a figurine, or do I just say 'dude I want lugia naaaaow' and get it no strings attached?

    Alright, so I know battling and such is probably going to wind down come Sunday, but I'm about done with the Robot Masters team, and I figure in the "spirit" of Mega Man, I would do this:

    Once per person per win per day, you can select a TM based on a Robot Master's signature move. Since Mega Man never got an exact copy of their abilities, I figure this'll work out.


    Elec Man - Thunderbolt/Thunder
    Ice Man - Ice Beam/Blizzard
    Fire Man - Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Guts Man - Earthquake
    Cut Man - X-Scissor
    Bomb Man - Sludge Bomb/Explosion

    I should be able to do this, this afternoon.
