Aw man, I'd love to be on a chili team. I was suprised that CCR isn't going to be there. They're always at Chilifest!
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. butter
1/2 c. honey
4 tbsp. carob powder
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 egg, well beaten
Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Add honey, sift in carob and cocoa powders. Using a wire whisk, blend together, then blend in the vanilla and egg. Sift together the flour and baking powder into the saucepan.
Mix all together (you may add 1-2 teaspoons milk if it seems too thick). Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

* 3 cups rolled oats
* 1 cup slivered almonds
* 1 cup cashews
* 3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut
* 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
* 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut, and brown sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, oil, and salt. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 sheet pans. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an even color.
Remove from oven and transfer into a large bowl. Add raisins and mix until evenly distributed.

Oh don't exaggerate! We are not allowed to buy liquor in Cali between the hours of 2 a.m.–6 a.m. This has been a pain for me many times haha.
I think that's just a local ordinance, not a state thing. I've made the 3am liquor run a time or two.

It is Wikipedia so it could be wrong. I have never been to a place in Cali where I could buy Liquor after 2. That sounds amazing.
We buy in BULK. I had a picture on my phone once of the back of my Ford Escape, rear seats folded down flat. We had something like 2 kegs, 16 cases of beer, and about 10 bottles of liquor. Cost a pretty penny that did. Fun night though.
It is also possible that liquor store owners near a college just didn't give a fuck and were willing to risk a fine to sell hooch to drunkards.
