I was in an elevator a few weeks back that on the 16th floor, made a horrible popping/snapping noise, lurched, then had some heavy shit hit the top of it, followed by people outside of the elevator yelling and cursing at each other. It then resumed its normal course to my floor.
I just about shat myself.

Welp... looks like I got passed over for promotion. Making Engineer II after two years is nearly guaranteed, but they skipped me. Other people who started with me in my department are showing up as Engineer II, but I'm not. My 'raise' was also barely a pittance.

So the Prewife is already wanting to schedule times to go look at locations for the wedding. I told her to wait a little bit until it's spring since that's the time we're getting married and we wanna do it outdoors.

It dramatically improves about four hours in. After that, the next improvement is supposed to be chapter eleven. But I'm not there yet.
It's very good fun but the pacing so far has been awful. The first two discs could have been compressed down to one or perhaps less as little has happened plot wise and I worry that the cool stuff which is starting to emerge is going to be rushed.
