Don't like the snow? You can make a bookmark with the following text instead of a url: javascript:snowStorm.toggleSnow(). Clicking it will toggle the snow on and off.
Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

We had a couple last year, but now that the weather is warming up we should have some more Saturday afternoon/evening bar outings.

We can enjoy the fact that the sun is now up after 5pm by wandering around downtown bars again.

He's just so excited he's coming down for the summer.

Also later this month sounds like an excellent time for the LAN. The last one was a blast and I'm looking forward to not sleeping for another weekend.

Argh. April 26th to May 6th is completely blocked out for requests at work; the only way I could go to the LAN is if I miraculously get those days off in the normal course of scheduling. At best I can probably drop in for the Friday; I'm likely going to be working Sat/Sunday.

I'd be willing to organize a California LAN for sometime over the summer, if others were so interested. I'm pretty centrally located in Monterey, CA, and have an in at the Marriott (2nd nicest hotel in town) for at least a conference room.

    Anyone's curiosity piqued?

There may be some people interested, but the Seattle get-together thread doesn't seem like the best place to look.

I might want to attend the LAN party, but it's been like ten years. What do people even play these days?

Probably the only networked game I play anymore is Urban Terror.
