    The green yellow and red markers on the watch has something to do with your filters I believe, while that number next to the gas mask on the left is how much time you have left I believe. One tip is to never manually change out your filter, the game will do it for you when your current becomes useless.

    And most importantly, the LED lights on the top of your watch is your visibility meter. Red means you are out in the open, and can be seen fully, yellow means that you might be spotted and green means you are a fucking ninja. Basically, shadows actually work in this game and later on taking out the lights either via turning them off with E or shooting them out works wonders.

    And from what I could see from the first set, you should use the iron sights more.

    Yes. You'll go through so much ammo if you just fire continually from the hip that you'll have to resort to the knife all the time. Iron sites and short controlled bursts to the head.

    Also, explore a bit more. You get a lot of stuff for doing it.

    Edit: Sorry for being a bit of a backseat gamer, but it'll be painful for you later on if you don't.
