Well the OP doesn't quite answer the questions I had, but then my original question is kinda vague and probably needs some narrowing down to get the answers I seek. Read through the entire thread instead (ow my eyes).
Anyhow looks like lots of fun and a good way to cap off the MMT and lead up to a pub crawl. If you'll have this humble PAX rookie I would be glad to come.
Edit: Also you have my condolences KaitouAyashi. With a name like that you must have been absolutely tortured in school.

Last year I believe it was at an old Navy (as in army) Centre?
As for this year, right now I think they're still looking around for appropriate venues to hold the dinner at.
So if you were thinking they just hold it at a restaurant, I don't think that's the case...
And yeah, KaitouAyashi, that was uncalled for... he was asking a innocent enough question.
But yeah it is lots of fun apparently... I didn't have the chance to go last year as the CST rolled into town a little too late, but I'd like to go this year as it sounds like lots of fun.

According to the Washington Legislature website, 2am or earlier. They give cities the option of staying open later but google doesn't show that has happened in Seattle.
1) I apologize to all of you for not being around more and providing updates on a more regular basis as I had wanted to do. My life has been hectic, I've had surgery just recently and my day to day job has been causing me a lot of headache, but I assure you that this dinner has been on my mind throughout.
2) Atlus, we had planned on having the dinner END at 9, at which point the pub crawl could begin. If you have any specific questions, PM me. I'm more than happy to help you out.
3) MetaverseNomad and I have been having LOTS of conversations and I think we've both agreed upon our venue!! I have a meeting with the Venue next week and assuming it goes as well as I think it will, we will be all set on our place of meeting, eating and partying down!! I also was just introduced to some delicious catered food this weekend and I'll be contacting that group to see what's what, because they were *fantastic*.
4) Again, I apologize for not being around enough, but as Metaverse can attest to, I have been working my butt off to provide something new and different from the previous dinners (trying to do them justice, most than anything) while making sure it's affordable.
It is terribly important to me and the rest of the group i've been working with that EVERYBODY who wants to come, is able to. We are doing this for you and to make sure you can attend, we're trying to keep costs down, quality and fun-factor high. So, while it's taken time for details to appear, I want you guys to understand exactly why it's been that way.

Cool, keep us abridged and toss up the registration details when you're ready beta_angel, I'm glad you stepped up to continue this! I think of all the pre-PAX activities (even my own, close to my heart, Magical Mystery Tour), I loved the Pre-PAX Dinner the most.

So, no promises *just* yet as I'm STILL in discussions with food folks, but it's looking very much like we're gonna be able to do this for $30 per person!! Like I said, no promises, but it's certainly looking viable, which just tickles me pink as this will be on-par with what we had last year!
