So I live two doors down from the local Retirement Center. It's 1:15am at the moment and for some reason the alamr has been tripped and now there's a fire engine and a police car, possibly ambulance, on the way as I can hear the sirens getting closer. I was planning to sleep soon, so I'm pretty annoyed.

Anything else happening with you SE++? Any brushes with danger, alarms or authorities recently?

There was a guy with a megaphone outside my workplace this morning announcing that there was a water leak. Apparently the water was turned off for a while.

That's about as exciting as it gets round these parts.

I had a few friends that used to work at a nursing home. They always told me that the place was just full of fucking and sex and all that good stuff, since the old timers don't give a fuck. And that STDs were rampant. Like she knocked on someone's door one time, to deliver food or something and was greeted by the sight of an 80 year old lady completely nude, who said she was waiting for her nooner. Gross.

oh sometimes they can round all the old people up in a few minutes, other times you get a full blown riot going and it lasts a couple of hours.

Getting my morning mcdonald's coffee there was an employee hawking coupons to the drive through lane. While she was yelling at me, an old woman walked in front of my still moving car and I almost hit her. Dang old people
