I don't think I've heard of any plans to ever bring it to the PS3 either.
Which means what? Is it a good game or no?
Yes, very good game, especially if you liked the Gothic games. It just looks like shit on the Xbox is all I'm saying, get the PC version.
It's good for everything but not making your eyes bleed in their sockets.
I guess it is still coming apparently, but not much sign of when unfortunately.
Yep.

Played 'em all except Witcher and Risen. And after those comparison screenshots I just googled, it doesn't look like Risen is an option, considering I haven't got the PC to run it and the 360 version truly looks like balls. Never heard much positive sentiment about Witcher, either, though I'm open to trying it. Thanks for mentioning that one. Seems like I have the specs to run it, too. :^:
Heh. Anyone worth his salt has played Morrowind. Just sayin'. And I was thinking more along the lines of games that have come out in the past year or two.
All that said, is Two Worlds worth playing at all? I know there's a sequel in the works, but I got the impression that the first one was a lot like Oblivion, and that's kinda what I'm looking for. Don't know how well it was received though. Discuss.
At being awful. That said, the writing was incredible. Blew my mind the way they managed to string together sentences that made absolutely on sense.

I have to agree. Two Worlds was a bunch of bad ideas executed horribly. Stay far away.
It looks like you've played most of the obvious choices (hence why you're here, I suppose). This is a tricky one...
My recommendation would be open the Games Under $5 USD tab, and see what you like the look of. If you can't find anything there, go to the games Under $10 USD tab. you'll find SOMETHING.
Actually, it had one idea that I fucking LOVED. You could take some shitty leather armor that looked cool, some shitty spear that looked cool and your guy would look badass but have shitty stats, right? But then if you found more copies of those particular items (the exact same ones, not a similar spear with the same stats but the exact same one) you could combine them and receive a more powerful version of it. I never played more than 3-4 hours into the game but theoretically you could go through the entire game wearing leather armor and using a simple spear but your stats would scale to your level. I always hated how a lot of games forced you to start wearing plate armors and using huge two-handed swords when all I wanted was a simple spear and leather armor.
Indeed. I guess I just really dig WRPG's in a big way. Non-linear, character customization, epic story, etc. That's my cup of tea. I feel like I've played everything under the sun when it comes to that particular genre, and I guess I was sort of (unrealistically) hoping someone here would pull a shiny gem out of their ass that I'd never played before.
I tried Demon's Souls on PS3 and couldn't get into it. I'm really just looking for something that'll occupy weeks upon weeks of my time, so far nothing has done that on PS3. That's not to say the games aren't amazing, I just want something to grab hold of me for a little bit longer. Too bad about Two Worlds, though I kind of figured it might be a pile of shit, seeing as I've never heard anyone talk about it outside of this thread.
Anyone heard very much about Alpha Protocol? Signs point to it being full of potential, but I'm withholding judgment until I see a price drop.
I also have to recommend the Lucas Arts pack again since you can get all that is Jedi Knight for cheap.
