yeah, and comic book artists on star wars are often not the best, and tend to put aayla in any ridiculous pose to make her space busoms the focus of... basically most every panel she is in.

She is an invention of the comic books.
At one point, Lucas saw this cover (drawn/painted by Jon Foster) for the "Darkness" story Arc featuring Aayla and Quinlan Vos:
His response was something like: "Hey, I should put her in the movie."
