Oh bongi, that sounds positively lovely. I would be all about it, if I didn't hate the French so badly.

The soundtrack to Once makes me both happy and kinda down and hopeful and oh gosh, I love it so. Listening to it right now. Gken Hansard, marry me

Also Audrey Tautau is the prettiest lady and I wanna put her in my pocket and carry her with me always. I saw a couple of her earlier French movies (happenstance, hotel Paris, some religious one) and they were kinda meh. Did love her in Dirty Pretty Things so hard.

Amelie got me a girlfriend around the time it came out. I was working at a rental store and this girl I'd met at a bar came in to see what I was like, and asked me to recommend a movie to her. I picked Amelie because it's great and she figured that meant I was a romantic.

She asked me if I loved her for the first time while I was in the process of putting my dick in her for the first time.

Let me tell you a great way to ensure a "yes" to that question.

The Eiffel Tower is brown, dude. Now that you've no need to go to Paris, you should head down into Southern France. That's real beauty right there.

As an English guy with a French girlfriend who hangs out in Paris with Frenchies a lot, I can say that yes, really. Obviously, you need to learn French for this to be useful.

I'm sure I read that Paris has the highest proportion of singles of any capital city. Meaning that it's kind of unlucky for love.

Small towns in the South of France loves them some English peoples. Probably because we're spending a ton of money in the tourist trade, but also because, from my experience, we just want to act chill and sip wine all afternoon in the shade by the pool and not make assholes out of ourselves like the booze-cruise Brits that hit the North for a day of drinking.
