if the misfits are considered hardcore punk then I am way more into hardcore punk than I thought, but I'm pretty sure they're not.

also, what about melt banana. I've been into them for a while, but I've never really been sure where in the punk spectrum they fall. hard core? post hard core? or is it just noise rock? I don't know, all this stuff is pretty confusing.
