with this free 45 days i figured i'd give it another go... but the launcher isn't... 'launching'. I get the 'SOE - sony online entertainment' little window with 'reciving *data*' then that closes with no further information and nothing launches afterwards either...

Any ideas?

edit: Got it sorted, looks like it was the old launcher...

Thrasher was my favorite super derp hit and run vehicle in PS1, killed so many BFRs with circle strafing. I hope it makes a return.

The bridges are going to be more epic in PS2. They increased the size and made them more elaborate. Can't find the picture at the moment, unfortunately.

One Lightning was AV bait. Forty plus Lightnings was like unleashing a swarm of army ants on some termites. Good times.

mmmm i can't wait to get out my driving license with the magrider, i was a decorated hit and run soldier, had the 3 medals for running over like 2000 people.

seriously if you've never done it, the most satisfying thing in the game is to be cruising down a road and then "BUMP" you killed so and so! silly cloakers, why you standin in the middle of the road where mines are supposed to go?

Well, since we have nothing to discuss, let's talk about what we're going to name our outfits.

Me and Jaramr have talked on steam about making one named class-ops. I came up with call signs based on gentry wear, top hats light assault and snipers monocles etc. If we get split into different factions, I'd like to keep that name.

Does anyone else plan to make outfits and have names for them?

I can dig the desire to make the TR tank more shooty, but one of the benefits of the old TR tank was having independent rotating turrets. If the photo given is anything to go by, they got rid of that. And that gives me a sad.

In a 1 v 1 fight, against a more maneuverable Magrider, or the brutal hitting Vanguard, you'd always end up dead, assuming equal skill and accuracy. The RoF wasn't a good substitute for the direct application of superior damage, or being easily flanked. But in a mixed arms battle, the twin turret TR tank was awesome, and even did a respectable job with anti-air. But without the turret? I'm highly skeptical of it's competitiveness.
