Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
your libido is monstrous and unkillable, I'm sure even in the event of a tactical nuclear strike it'd manage to emerge intact from the rubble, mutated into an unquenchable many headed beast, each one with an equally suggestive and talented mouth, like some kind of sex hydra.
I don't think I have ever created a Mothership. They are so expensive to make and I would rather just make a shitload of units.
Not really.
you can make <2 carriers or 3 void rays for one mothership.
The problem is they take forever, which means you have to use chrono boosts
Carriers are pretty bad and I would rather chrono boost my immortals out or something else. Also when you say you can make three void rays for the cost of a unit, that is expensive as hell.
I just watched a movie about the Irish Civil War. It was pretty sad.
When the main character called someone he had just been shooting at by his first name, I just about felt like crying.
This happens in Civil Wars. It's often why they tend to be cited as the nastiest kind of war.
There's no living with a killing. There's no goin' back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand... a brand sticks. There's no goin' back. Now you run on home to your mother and tell her... tell her everything's alright. And there aren't any more guns in the valley.
Given my understanding of your general location, I'm going to assume that was a joke, and refrain from having Kevin Spacey shout at you about being incorrect.
"Shut up, you stupid bitch. You never appreciated him. Never deserved him. And now he's mine," Laurie spat.
I pulled her closer to me, not liking her tone. She softened, but her expression remained the same.
"Yeah, whatever. He's an asshole anyway," Jenn tossed off, trying to appear nonchalant.
"Oh, and that's why you're trying to get with me again?" I asked, unsure of how I really felt.
"You never really did what I wanted, Shane, but at least you didn't embarrass me as much as my current squeeze," she replied disdainfully.
"Gosh, that makes me want to dump Laurie," I sarcastically returned.
"Fine. Fuck off." Jenn stormed off, trying to sound more pissed off than upset.
Laurie looked at me, eyebrows raised. "And you dated her?"
I sighed. "She wasn't like that back then. Or maybe she was, and she hid it."

Carrot, it reads a little stiltedly to me. I think it's the use of the phrases identifying the speaker: "I asked", "she spat", "I returned"; in my opinion it kind of throws the rhythm of the dialogue the way it is currently.
I promised to go out for a friend's birthday after bailing on some other shit (Like nights out to a gay bar, football matches, etc)
It was yesterday and I completely forgot. No going out, no seeing her, no texts, not even a facebook message...
shit
That's not so bad.
The trick is to get your apology in early, and accompany it with a gift. Make nebulous references to some kind of family stuff coming up. Nobody ever probes too deeply into stuff like that.
... Dangerous flooding will continue across northern portions of
Shelby County due to a levee break along the Big Creek...
A levee has breached along Big Creek and continues to flood areas
from Shelby Forrest to the Fayette County line across northern
portions of Shelby County. At this time... five feet of water has
flooded the Naval Air Station in Millington and water continues to
rise quickly across portions of the city of Millington. Live water
rescues continue and upwards of 200 people have already been
rescued. In addition... 200 to 300 homes have been flooded in base
housing at naval support activity in Millington. This is an
extremely dangerous situation. If water begins to quickly rise in
your location... move immediately to higher ground.
An attempt to do a live action recreation of the bible is just silly.

gimme a bit, I need to gather my thoughts before venturing forth
edit: also: tornado!
Civil Wars are highly overrated.
:?:
Some civil wars are about important shit. Like how likely the government is to rape and/or murder you, or whether you can own black people, or how much it costs to mail a letter. But the Irish Civil War was just stupid. Really fucking stupid.
Not really.

Also you can throw snowballs at them and they'll blow the fuck up.
Boooo.
The Tornado had an advanced ground-tracking radar system called TARDIS (Tornado Advanced Radar Display Information System).
This is what happens when you let geeks design avionics systems.

I know. It was Professor Snape versus Oskar Schindler. How could you support anyone else?
But yeah, for the layman, having to break bonds of friendship like that is not fun, and I hope I never have to do it.
Geeks always design avionics systems.
Also: boo indeed. The sirens are really annoying
shit shit shit
goddamnit
Hey, me too! *Fuck up high [strike]four[/strike] five*
pffft, religion

What kind of fuck up?
It's like I wake up every morning with a bouquet of oopsy-daisies for someone.
Only downside is that it completely changed how I interpreted the character in the book.
I am mean to someone on a professional basis at least twice a day.
This is what comes of a legal system with an adversarial approach to resolving disputes.

Oh I'm mean to people professionally all the fucking time
It really should have been in my job description: you must be able to affect the air of a total dick
