    For:
    Lea 2 - XO
    Lea 2 - XO
    Lea 3 - Declare Emergency

    FAIL! Galactica Damaged and two boarders on Galactica!

    Would you like the damage to be on Pegasus or Galactica, Apollo?

    If it says galactica damaged do you still get the choice? if I do get one I say Galactica anyway.
    The group I play with irl does not give the choice if it says galactica specificially (basicially the only choice comes in when basestars fire)

    Your group is a bunch of silly geese.
    Damaging and Destroying Pegasus
    Pegasus locations, like Galactica locations, may be damaged
    by Cylon attacks, and follow similar rules for damage and
    repair. Each time Galactica would be damaged, the current
    player may choose to draw a Pegasus damage token
    instead of a Galactica damage token.
    These tokens behave
    identically to Galactica damage tokens, except that they
    depict Pegasus locations.
    If all four Pegasus locations have a damage token on them at
    the same time, Pegasus is destroyed. Move all characters
    on Pegasus to “Sickbay,” and characters may not move to
    Pegasus for the rest of the game.

    Discard Tac 2 - scout to move to President's Office & Activate it. Regardless of draw I will play Presidential Pardon on Helo and order him to take my spot at Command

    We need a lot of actions but the civvies are technically safe for the moment so I didn't launch. It's absolutely critical I get an XO soon - I'll be assigning a mission specialist for better chance of a 3 distance and repairing the FTL & vipers while digging for AoBFs. I suggest that Dee jump us even if we're at -3 if we manage to keep the civvies up by then

    Also, someone should go to the armory, we have 2 go arounds before we lose (unless we get screwed by the crisis cards) so it's not super critical yet

    Thank you, Your Holy Eminence. I'll move to Command.
    Not sure if I get the choice here as I don't have Presidential Pardon in front of me, figured I'd cover my bases.

    The card says I choose. I figure it's marginally better for you to be there in case raider activations mean we need to immediately cover the civvies

    As the the swarms of Raiders advance upon the defenseless civilians, a lone Raider jumps in at 11:00. This one seems... different, though.

    Scar has arrived.

    SCAR

    Step 1: Activate Raiders
    Step 2: Setup
    1:00 - Empty
    3:00 - Civ, Civ
    5:00 - Viper
    7:00 - Viper
    9:00 - Empty
    11:00 - Scar
    Step 3: Special Rule - Scar
    Scar activates twice on Raider Activation and can only be destroyed on a roll of 7 or 8

    1d8 = 4! Hit!
    1d8 = 2! Miss!
    1d8 = 7! Hit!

    Two of the three raiders explode, leaving dust in their wake. The last raider breaks off it's attack run to engage the viper.

    However, within the Galactica, someone is holed up in the Research Lab, demanding that they surrender to the Cylons, or he'll blow the whole thing up! Galactica's staff debates how to end this quickly and quietly.

    DETECTOR SABATAGE!

    Fail: Everyone in the Research Lab goes to the Sick Bay. Also, no more peeking at Loyalty cards.

    You're reading too much into their attempt to mix fluff into the rules

    From BGG:
    Q: If a Crisis card says "damage Galactica twice", can the current player choose to damage Pegasus? (page 4 of this thread)
    A: (Corey, FFG, by way of David Goldfarb) Yes, and he can choose and resolve each token before choosing the next. (By implication, this may also apply to the Cylon reveal power: "May Damage Galactica.")
