    That's Abel, right

I think they very nearly deleted that entry until some other people contributed some better-written pieces about him popping up in other areas

The best part is when they take ones that are obviously author self-entries and have the personnel terminate them in various overkill ways

I think my favorite of the self-insertion terminations is that of SCP-809-D

    Post-Incident Interview, ██-██-████

Interviewer: … I am, however, a bit curious about the final portion of your kill procedure.

Clef: Well… I figured that the best way to be sure to take down 809 was to utilize a large scale kill procedure. A gun might not hit a vital point. An explosive might just scatter parts all over the place. But a ten ton steel weight…

Interviewer: That would probably do the trick, yeah.

Clef: We had that sumbitch… the kill item… mounted on wheels next door. When the electromagnet was turned on, we just pulled the handbrake, gave it a push to start it off, and let the magnet pull the kill item into the next room at high velocity. Squish.

Interviewer: Yes, I understand all that perfectly. I'm just curious: was it REALLY necessary to cast the kill item in the shape of a giant steel fist?

    Clef: Not really, no.

I dunno, even though that seems ridiculious, I kind of want to know what would happen if "caine" and "abel" meet.
When information concerning SCP-076 was brought to the attention of SCP-073 for "backing up", subject showed familiarity with the information, although was disinclined to adding to it, despite the fact that it stated that it already knew all about SCP-076. It then stated it would be better for all parties involved that it not meet SCP-076.

SCP-343, colloquially nicknamed 'God' by the staff here, looks like an older man, although his features are different to each observer. In my first talk with him, he claimed outright to be the creator of the universe. When I asked him to prove this, he laughed, walked through the wall of the chamber, and returned seconds later with a hamburger in his hand.

SCP-354-15: Feline-esque creature composed of a blue-hued crystalline structure later revealed to be ice. Was able to jump above the walled enclosure and was agile enough to dodge most gunfire. Was actively hostile and mauled any personnel that engaged it. Subject engaged SCP-354-16 upon its emergence from the pool and was terminated in the fight.

SCP-354-16: Feline-esque creature composed of a dark red-black stone later revealed to be partially solidified magma. Gunfire proved mostly ineffective against its hide. Was not hostile to personnel and did not attempt to escape the walled enclosure until being engaged by SCP-354-15. Successfully terminated SCP-354-15 and grew less active as its body cooled. After fully solidifying and having remained motionless since, subject was moved to Dr. ██████'s office for aesthetic purposes.

Also, while it takes quite a bit longer to read than most articles, I really like SCP-093 and its associated test logs at the bottom of the article. You could almost write a novel out of that.

I was reading their FAQ page for new members, and to be honest they seem like they're kind of hostile

But they produce some pretty cool stuff as a community, so I guess I shouldn't question their methods!

SCP 979: Refers to itself as SE++. Appears to be a combination of various sentient personas, which it calls posters. Capable of communication via any internet-enabled device.

Has driven several Class-4 employees insane.

Attempts to destroy it with even the deadliest of SCP's have failed.

My one dislike about this site is that since it refers to things by numbers almost everywhere, whenever it goes "don't cross SCP-XXX with SCP-YYY" I gotta go ugh and reread SCP-XXX to remember what it's talking about.
