A lot more shadow around his smile than I've seen in prior shots. Looks like an unlit jack-o-lantern.

That would be because of the choice I made in character creation. It's a pretty awesome mix. You choose both a face, can mess around with the proportions of the face, but more importantly each one also has facepaint/something for the face to add about 5-6 PER face choice. On top of that a lot of them have an accessory choice, I could have had a big iron Lockjaw with that face.

Skin color also can definitely make a difference.

As for the origin of the body markings:

There's lore, and there's "how can we explain why this is an entire race of strippers?" lore.

Most of the time, if the quality of your writing is questionable anyways, might as well give the second type some mileage. And it's not like people REALLY care why the chainmail only comes in bikini.

Ok finally compiled some of my Open Beta Screenshots about a large GVG battle we had.

Spoilered because there are quite a few images.

Our initial strategy was to hide our elins in bushes to am'bush' them

However that didn't work so we mounted up.

But we didn't have much direction....

Somehow we found the enemy just outside Velika and a mighty battle began!

We chased them into the River!

Then we had a victory line dance

Later on I saw this fly past a mountain range. I think it's a giant Space Whale, and it is amazing. I don't think it does a damn thing, but it flies across the sky in this area.


Good times, I really want to play again

*Edit* Eh screw it the resizing broke again i'm unspoiling them.

Wooo, grinded enough ?-Ore in CO before the C-Point exchange prices went over 100, letting me pick up a Hideout. I made a space-outfit for my Soldier to help celebrate.



And here's another cool design that I saw. Good to see what some people can make when they use their imagination (and the right costume-parts).

I think it just dethroned the Final Fantasy series for best design.

(Not because of the above screenshot, but perhaps the main city... I'll grab a few of that one later. Can't seem to get the free camera to work, though.)
