Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

It makes so much sense now.

rest assured i am not objecting to anti-humanism
but there is something about the idea of people interacting solely with fictional beings that are utterly in their power for their entire lives that does not sit well
the scenario is pretty largely implausible anyways but it's an interesting idea.
for the record i would have totally stayed in the matrix and let the machines harvest my brain juice.
Yes it was.
Dark, scary places nobody wants to go to.
Senjutsu (real name Maplesyrup Bunyan)
Actual Play: Mage: the Awakening - At the Edge of All Things (updated 5/28!)

The being black gives it away.
Sure, as long as you don't mind furious public masturbation.
Not enough dribbles.
And yet at the end of the day, not matter how hot the chick you are banging is, and how great the sex is, you still whack off like crazy.
You can call me Mister Bunyan
and every time you turn off or change the program you're basically murdering all the entities you created
on the other hand, interacting with those entities seems more valid if they are "real" on that level
There's really only one black dude
he's just really quick
At the point where we've created machines that can simulate human beings with such unpredictability and verisimilitude without requiring humans to unplug to maintain or repair them... well, at that point we've basically created the post-singularity AI that will replace us.
Yep.
I yelled at him so bad he had to get away from the computer for a minute

I think it is unhelpful because anyone worth talking to is generally "left" on some issues and "right" on others.
That's why they don't call travelling in basketball anymore
easier to run with it than pass to yourself.
i think you should
that's why he plays so many sports
Like if I was AI, I'd love being surrounded by idiots who needed me.
"Hey HAL, what's the answer to this problem?"
"z=5, obviously"
We'll make great pets.
I will give it 5 stars.
you have clearly never done tech support
You're trying to get me in trouble aren't you
I think it is unhelpful because we are not 19th century France!
That is true.
But if I was an AI wouldn't I have capacity for infinite patience as well?
And dare I say... infinite jest?
I wish I could trap all the idiots I've done tech support for in a hellish deathless reality of perpetual starvation and misery.
