I was so busy watching the notes and the gauge on the side that it took me a while to realize that the tracks fill up with color as you max them out. That made it a little easier to just focus on playing and knowing when to shift tracks.
Part of it is knowing what to focus on when. If there are only a couple of vocal passages in a section, you'd better max those out when you can and then worry about the drums/guitar/etc. in between.
I've been enjoying it well enough. I don't see it holding my attention the way the instruments have but it's fun to just pop in and play a few songs.
